His message to the 90% was nice and well received by me, I agree Rotherham away and Wigan at home were great memories. Good luck Stef.

Sounds fair to me. I haven’t seen anything bad written about him on social media as I don’t use it but if he says it’s happened that’s good enough for me, he has the right to reply and has done, so good on him. Typical journalism that until over half way through the article you don’t realise he’s actually written a very nice message to what he sees as 90% of the fan base, funny how the tag line to the article didn’t even suggest such a quote.

this forum will have a melt down if our main forwards are lewis and holloway I've said it before, I'll say it again. LJL shouldn't even be on the books. What exactly does he bring to the party? 1 goal every 10 League games, and as another poster has already pinpointed, brought on to remind people that the gates are open. Apart from LJL closing a game down by holding the ball up in the last few minutes, has anyone seen anything that Askey can work on? And I'd have thought Holloway (1 goal in every 12 games) could perform that function if placed on the bench. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Definately one of the good guys in my opinion. Always enjoyed his goals. His, and Junior's, goals at the end of the season before last kept us in League 1 and allowed us to have the season we had last year. Good luck.

A good example of for some players the damage that can be potentially done by fans posting over critical comments on line. Yes it's just the way it is now and perhaps as a player you would be better to avoid social media. However that is unrealistic, the genie is now out of the bottle. Stefan Payne clearly can handle it but I expect there are many that can't and may well go some way to destroying their confidence. Oh well it is what it is and we know nothing will change and players just have to accept it part of the less desirable parts of social media.

No, I agree. Not seen anything on here. Perhaps it was on Facebook.
