Just wondering, with Rowley going out on loan, if maybe another younger keeper is set to join permanently but is one for the future who Hurst wants to develop and push on to the first team in 12 months time? A keeper who is better than Rowley but one for the future?

Good luck to him. Assigned No. 13 - so second choice keeper. Lovely bloke, helped Town massively in the promotion season but a good time for him to move on.

Leuts will be going there to play. Judging by the way Mowbray sets his teams up as well he will be busy too. Mowbray loves the gung-ho approach leave gaps at the back style. Blackburn a very good bet to be top scorers in the league this season.
Good luck Jayson. He has been an excellent custodian to this football club, part of a fortress defence in L2 and capable of the extraordinary saves few other keepers of this level can muster.

Good luck Jayson. Nice to see you still in L1. Thanks for your efforts and quality in helping us to go up, and stay up (twice). That save at Sc***horpe will stay in my memory for a very long time.

Good luck, Jayson. A great professional, and a good move for him. Will certainly get a very warm round of applause on September 23 from me.

It's a good move for Jayson Leutwiler and Town, not so sure about Blackburn though......

Good luck Jayson, I hope you nail down the number 1 spot at Rovers.
You could well be set to play championship football this time next year.

It's a good move for Jayson Leutwiler and Town, not so sure about Blackburn though...... You really are a miserable ungracious t**t at times. Good move for Jason, really pleased for the bloke, he served this club admirably on and off the field whilst here and I wish him nothing but the best.

Treated very shabbily by the management team. Its one thing to bring in a new Number 1 but to also bring in a new number 2 and potentially relegate him to fourth choice is very undeserving of a player who served the club well. Fred can hopefully move on now and find someone else to find fault with.

Good luck Loots, it has been a pleasure to watch you develop at the club, you were a fine servant.
P.S: I will never forget the save at Sc***horpe.....Incredible!

It could all be amicable for all we know.

Blackburn have got hell of a player, there gain and our loss but I for one wish a player that served us better than most all the luck.

Certainly seemed a nice chap from the outside. He came to us having not played any senior games really and has sent his career back on an upward path and got international caps to boot. We've had the services of one of the best keepers we've seen in blue and amber for the last decade. Both parties leave the relationship in a better place than when they started. Good luck Jayson Leutwiler

Once again. "An undisclosed fee"
It's very irritating, as we might otherwise know that there is now enough money in the kitty from the sale of Leutwiler, Burton, the training ground and the Lidl land for ssshrew to get her toilet seat!

Sad to see him go but in the circumstances it's a good move for him and it's also a good deal for us with getting a fee for someone the manager clearly doesn't want.
On a different note, it's interesting that he's ended up at Blackburn whilst Halstead has ended up at Southport, a player of course that a small number of posters suggested should be playing instead of Jayson.

Indeed, certainly a couple of them fall on the 'clueless' end of the spectrum. No names of course.

Really pleased for Jayson. Some people will remember Loots for different reasons. I will remember him for his bravery in keeping us in the FA Cup up at Grimsby.
