The tanker has finally got clearance from the harbourmaster to set sail.

I wish we'd hurry up and bin McGivern off. A far worse player than Lancashire or El-Abd.

Just got to get rid of McGivern and things will start to look more promising.

Hooray! Did he find out today that there wasn't a ticket to Portugal for him?

Agreed with rest. All needed is McGivern gone and that will get rid of the deadwood, and allow Hurst to have his own squad. O'Brien i'm sure could have some use if he is still around, but would presume he will back up north.

After his goal at Southend last season maybe he is off there or even Tranmere

Yeah it's his brother who is the player-manager at the club

Wonder where he'll end up next? I'll go for Wimbledon or Crawley.

Surely not a 2 year contract at Tranmere?
McGivern is now isolated. If we can't persuade him to go then pay him off!

O'Brien was meant to have done ok during his loan period so fingers crossed he heads back to Scotland

I wonder if we've had to pay him off? Great news that he's gone but not so great if we've had to pay him off the remainder of his contract.
I was hoping with Lancashire that because he's gone to Swindon there may have been a trade off which meant we weren't liable to pay the remainder of his contract.
As El-bad has seemingly no offers then I fear we've had to pay him off. Shocking signing. The phrase 'league one ready signings ' should be consigned to room 101

Hope your right and we haven't wasted any money paying him off but surely El-bad can't walk away from a years salary without something to go to. Don't get me wrong, I'd be quite happy to see him do it.

Thought he was a decent signing when he joined - turned out to be a huge disappointment!

When they both initially signed, I thought El-Abd and Lancashire were just what we needed. I got that one wrong but I hadn't seen them play unlike MM.......................surely....................!!

Good luck to him where ever the fellow goes. Just did not work for him here I am afraid. As much as I liked Mickey his final summer recruitment was appalling!
