What's the point in an indoor training facility when 46 plus games are played outdoors in all conditions and all types of playing surface.
That well worked free kick routine will take a bobble at Accrington Stanley as the wind carries it to the corner flag.
It's like getting infantrymen to play Call of Duty before going to war.

We've already got an all weather traing pitch behind the S stand why not an inflatable cover like at TCAT so it can be used all year and even hired out? Think MM refereed to that pitch as "Boggy".

I'd have thought proper drainage on 3 pitches and refurbing the building would be a marked improvement - and not a cheap one. Not sure why we'd need floodlights - do we ever train outside daylight hours?
Besides, there's nothing to say we have to spend all the transfer money at once. Was it all received as cash upfront anyway?

Should be a priority on Shrewstrust agenda to get STFC to clarify who owns this land and any caveats which may impact on the financial security of the club?
Same question could also be asked, should a controlling shareholder (over 50%)pass away, what provisions are in place to protect the financial future of the club bearing in mind we have a 2 man board!
And in reality that second man on the board is VERY rarely heard of or seen.... At least there are 2 members of the STFC Board. Just been doing some research into Wychbury Properties (Ellesmere) Ltd. They've been trading since 13th December 2013. Business - Property Development. Sole Director - Roland Wycherley. www.shropshirestar.com/news/2015/09/30/dozens-of-homes-to-be-built-on-disused-ellesmere-railway-station-yard/
