...so said the Chief Executive on the beer terrace of The Boathouse tonight. We lost 500k the year before last, 500k last year and we're On target to lose 400k this season, even if gates break even. We desperately need a cup run ( good luck with that Matt!- my thoughts at the time ) Granted he wasn't actually talking to me when he said it but seeing as I was at the next table I thought it rude not to listen. had a similar experience to jamo this afternoon at the shrewsbury club while having a coffee which turned into two coffees due to the intresting conversation on the table next to me between a couple of mr hursts backroom staff Hope you'll think carefully before spilling the beans, interesting though it may be. Don't need rumours at this stage in the season, maybe better in late May!

Probably lose Hurst and half the squad, start from scratch and end up doing a Fleetwood next season.

Personally think we will loose PH and half the squad whatever division we are in. Hopefully RW wouldn't do a Fleetwood and land us with a Joey Barton type manager. Big mistake by the Fleetwood chairman.

It is good to see young English managers given a chance and he may surprise us all. He has made lots of mistakes and worse I know but when interviewed, he comes across as intelligent, self aware and something of a deep thinker. I think he'll do well and wish him luck anyway.

The ressurection of this thread has reminded me of the legend that was Atcham Jack. RIP. Absolutely - a classic example of the gloriously surreal nonsense he was famed for.

Chief executive will go at the end of the season . Bigger and better things with Scotland on the table for BC.

I think he comes across as a shallow, arrogant who thinks quoting Nietzsche on Twitter makes him an intellectual. Never have liked him though so maybe I’m biased...

Probably lose Hurst and half the squad, start from scratch and end up doing a Fleetwood next season. This is why I would expect Hursty to leave this summer for the sake of his career if we don’t go up, otherwise he could end up doing a ‘Uwe Rosler’, we would probably be lower mid table at best in League 1 next season, hopefully we will be struggling in the Championship instead...

had a similar experience to jamo this afternoon at the shrewsbury club while having a coffee which turned into two coffees due to the intresting conversation on the table next to me between a couple of mr hursts backroom staff Hope you'll think carefully before spilling the beans, interesting though it may be. Don't need rumours at this stage in the season, maybe better in late May! could not agree with you more hence not going into more. very unprofessional to be talking like that in a public area not even sure why they were there
