I've always been fond of Edgar Street, but when the individuals now running the club disappear, I can't help but wonder if returning to play there will be a poisoned chalice. It clearly needs a hell of a lot spending on it.

I think and new stadium and new club at the same time would be too much for most.
One at a time.

Unfortunately I think you are going to lose that battle! What amazes me is that Hereford council have s**t on HUFC for years and now fans think they are going to help their cause. Not to be trusted! We know the Council can't be trusted, but I think they're too incompetent to do anything anyway. In all fairness they did try to repossess the ground, their plan foiled by our assistant manager sleeping at the club. I fear the Council will be all too easily bribed with money. Money talks. Carrying on from what Full of Bull said, I'm against a move away from Edgar Street, but it needs to be rebuilt basically. Blackfriars Terrace will never be open again, I fear the Len Weston has the same future. As for the Meadow End, that's not going to be 'safe' for much longer, but the main stand might survive for a bit longer yet. Basically Edgar Street needs developing. The Old Market shopping thing needs to be enhanced, but all the current owners want to do is build a casino on it. Where the ground is now needs houses and a hotel being built on it, but most importantly, it needs a bit of grass in the middle where people play on a Saturday in white. Hiya - Ludlow boy here but live in hereford. Been keeping tabs on this all summer, just shudders from bad to worse! Have to say the local MP & HUST have played blinders, whereas the local council, which appears to be made up of Boer war vets, have done nothing/very little as usual. Must admit the idea of Hereford having a casino nearly made to collapse with laughter! Can't imagine it fitting in with the nice new shopping aracade. Would say that with the car park at the back of the Meadow end being earmarked for yet more housing a move to the outskirts (like by the new cattle market) maybe the best bet once these cockney rejects have realised their blags gone saaaaarrrffff! Hope you get your club back.

So the Observer have done a nice little piece the police will be round soon
By Andy's admission the voice mails are real and have come from someone at the club, someone no longer associated with the club. Yeah, right. Little does he know what new can of worms he has just opened. Once the additional information we have is passed on to the appropriate authorities, the phrase ton of bricks ( something he has plenty of experience of ) will never be more true.

On Friday Andy promised us £1.5 million. This morning, after that investor pulled out, he found someone else to pump in £750000. Within 5 minutes of actually telling us who this investor was, specialist Essex property developers Newall Developments, must have received 10000 death threats because by 12 o'clock they pulled out. Andy went into overdrive and in 15 minutes found another investor with this time £1 million the one and only European Finance Guaranteed Ltd, current directors Carlo Pallone and Francisco Vila Botella. We are now having visions of fishes and racehourses. Oh, and the FA have decided that our new current owner has failed the FA ODT test. Bulls Banter is in meltdown.....

"The rebuilding of the team to achieve a return to the Football League, plus the updating and refurbishing of the Stadium to enable Edgar Street to once again host high level football are central to the efforts to attain this." Well it is panto season about now isn't it.

Reported this am on local news that the supporters trust have invited Andy Lonsdale to meet with them on 18th December to outline his plans for taking the club forward now that he has told the High Court that he is going to put £1m of his own money in before the next hearing on 15th December. Good move by the supporters which should bring things to a head. A case of put your money where your mouth is.

Good move, I very much doubt he personally has a £1m otherwise it would have put this issue to bed weeks ago. If he can put his hands on this amount it will be loans and pledges! Did you mean 8th December?

Did you mean 8th December? No it reported the 18th. That's what's clever about the move because the money will either be paid then, the club has recieved another stay of execution or they will have finally been wound up. If the latter then their will be no meeting. Whatever the outcome this is really beginning to feel like the end game, one way or another.

Well he has accepted the offer. All that is needed now is him to actually pay up. No payments by installments, because we all know what that means. No payments in full before the 18th December means no meeting.
However, Andy has tried to turn it around to make it a meeting for all supporters. Cannot see HUST agreeing to that, so maybe an escape clause there for him.

Thank God we have Roland Wycherley. Even at our lowest points under his tenure it has never been anywhere near as bad as what Hereford fans are going through. They only want to watch football in their town after all.
In fact I pity any town who hasn't got a football team to watch and sometimes I feel our own town doesn't appreciate that enough.
Good luck to the football fans of Hereford, I hope it all works out for you, otherwise it's watching The Premiership on Sky on a Saturday afternoon.

well this statement from HUST is pretty clear: HUST welcomes Andy Lonsdale’s acceptance of our invitation, via a club statement, to speak at our forthcoming Members Meeting on December 18th. Mr Lonsdale’s further invitation to speak to the full fanbase at Edgar Street is welcome, however this will have to occur at a later date for the reasons stated in the original release. The December 18th meeting is a Members Meeting that is to conduct a number of items of HUST business. The principle item of business is the current boycott which was voted on by HUST members and must be formally ended with the evidence that the terms of the boycott have been met. We hope Mr Lonsdale can understand that we have to follow the necessary process and will be able to furnish the meeting with the details needed to confirm the completion of terms to end the boycott, namely the settlement of the winding-up proceedings, debt to Herefordshire Council, and football creditors. As already stated we plan to record the meeting for publication on our YouTube channel, and all fans will be able to hear Mr Lonsdale’s plans through that without cost. Of course, membership of HUST is open to all supporters and any can attend the coming members meeting by joining HUST and having an equal vote in shaping its future decisions. Membership can be completed online, costing £10 – www.hufctrust.co.uk/membership-form/. So not only can Andy speak at the meeting, he has the opportunity to address the whole world. No excuses for him now.

They are always welcome to pop up the A49 to watch a real team If they can't scrape enough groats together to get to Salop, they can probably hitch a lift as far as Ludlow on a tractor and trailer. Do Ludlow Town exist?

Hereford fans now boycotting Debenhams as they're holding a staff Christmas party at Shedgar street.
You couldn't write this stuff, they should turn it into a sitcom.

Couple more days to go. A lot hinges on this letter that Andy produced, that has been carefully analysed. If he relies on it in court again then he may be in a little trouble as we know that barristers acting for the creditors have analysed it too and are ready to pounce. Another question we are asking is how he passed this ODT when 3 of the companies he is involved with have CCJ's against them link

And the match was delayed for 45 minutes as the FA had told the referee and linesman the match was off More worryingly, don't know for who or why, but our chairman didn't go to the game. He went to watch his old club, Bedbugs and Feltum play. You'd have thought he'd have wanted to be at Herefrauds last ever game......

I heard a different point of view in the pub from a Bulls fan last night. He still attends games at Edgar Street, and doesn't see the sense of a boycott. He was none too complimentary about the Trust either.
