The police have complimented the protesters on their behaviour and the St Neots supporters were applauded as they went in. There was no picket and the supporter's Trust had specifically asked that those who wanted to watch the match should not be targeted. It'll be interesting to see how many turn out on Tuesday night to watch the game if it's raining. Although the gate was claimed to be 568 today, it's said that some 860 turned out to watch the supporter's Trust team play a friendly at Malvern last Sunday.

Goodness me it gets weirder and weirder. I got business people in London, no small club can survive, even if they don't come we'll be ok. Eh?

So, if money's no problem. why do they still owe former players and staff, including a young mum who hasn't been paid her Statutory Maternity Pay? This from Bulls News

No Season Tickets, No Matchday Tickets By Bobo
At tonight's Fans Forum, club director John Edwards told those attending that the club never put Season Tickets on sale, which is why they sold none.
Despite announcing prices, issuing an order form on their website, and telling people as late as Wednesday the prices for Season Tickets, Edwards told the audience that they decided not to sell any.
It was also revealed that the club would not have any printed match tickets for tomorrow's game as the ticket printing machine was broken.
The forum was led by chairman Andy Lonsdale, who was confronted early on by Leigh Renton. Lonsdale refused to answer questions on why she had not been paid her Statutory Maternity Pay. He later told the audience that they would complete payments to football creditors next week - after the deadline imposed by the Southern League."

Finally, the club has passed on the lady's Statutory Maternity Pay from HMRC but she is still owed holiday pay according to Bulls News. Other former players and staff haven't been paid in full apparently although this was thought to be a requirement before the season started.

Seems to me that the creditors will all be paid off soon albeit late! Reading the St Neots website their manager stated he was pleased they played Hereford first game and not in a few weeks time as he said they were decent.
If the breakaway fans want a Phoenix club they need to do it now as I can see supporters drifting back. Saturday was probably a moral victory for Agombar as I don't think people expected even 200 to attend and over 500 was a decent attendance all things considered.
Interested to hear FOB take on current situation?

Listening to local radio there is sizeable group of Hereford supporters who are prepared to give the new regime more time to prove themselves. The point being if they hadn't put the money in that they have so far the club would already have folded.

Gates of 500 won't pay off the CVA. The end is nigh.

The point being if they hadn't put the money in that they have so far the club would already have folded. I am not sure Hereford would have folded if it is the case the HUST had sufficient pledges which they stated they had to pay off creditors etc. There would not have been the split that exists in the fanbase which is divisive. Situation is you now have one set of supporters trying to kill off the existing club, and there is a likliehood this will lose it's impetus now!

Club StatementI've been an avid reader of bulls banter over the last few weeks - but this statement from two of the directors parachuted in to make the board numbers up a few weeks ago takes 'bonkers' to a whole new level. Basically - we know the CVA is a busted flush but vote in favour of it please..............please?

What a statement that is. Talk about last rites.
Poor Old Tommy has finally been told by The FA to go away as he is not a fit person. Why it has taken them so long I don't know as it was pointed out to them months ago. We also have another director subject to an IVA, so he's not suitable either, and our CEO, who may or may not have left Gray's Athletic is an undischarged bankrupt, so he should fail too.
No supporter is deliberately trying to kill the club. Tommy's CVA would do that. We'd need a turnover of £340000 a year to keep up the payments on it. By November, we'd be in default !!

For godsake someone kill this club off.
I don't care if it's Tommy, the HMRC, The Southern League, The F A . Anyone please, just do if.
It all reminds me of the Monty Python parrot sketch. It's dead. End of .
For those interested, start again and try to get it right.

What a mess. The proposed CVA is due to discussed and voted on at the end of the week with a winding up order due to heard yet again in the High Court early next month. Here's a link to Bulls News to see what's going on bullsnews.blogspot.co.uk/

They picked up their first points of the season last night with a 2-2 draw at home to Slough in front of just over 500. There is certainly a die hard core of fans who are still prepared to turn out to watch them.

Fans counted those going in and made it 431, many having complimentary tickets, according to Bulls Banter.

Hereford United's owner has been disqualified from being involved with the club after failing the Football Association's fit and proper person's test. Tommy Agombar told BBC News he failed because as he has served more than four years in prison, over 20 years ago. He was introduced to fans at Edgar Street on Saturday, the first game of the new season, but the club said it was also his "official goodbye". www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-28758103

It confuses me that someone who is not 'fit and proper' can buy a club in the first place. Surely any such test should be carried out before ownership is transferred.

Am I right in thinking that the former directors withdrew over a £1million from the club between 1998-2012?!

End of . For those interested, start again and try to get it right. This is exactly what HUST (and most sensible Hereford fans) are hoping will happen now! It's the only way of getting rid of all the 'Cockney/Essex Mafia' and the crippling debts... I think HUFC will be out of business by next month and the Southern League will have egg on their faces by bending their own competition's rules to allow the club in...
