what really winds me up is when a player is injured by opposition, a free kick is awarded (penalty perhaps some seasons ago for us!!) the opposition player is booked, but our player has to leave the field of play. gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it absolutely totally does my head in. we have an injured player and he has to go off. WTF. Very good point RIE. In effect it penalises the fouled and injured players team, who play with 10 men for a time. Maybe the player who has committed the foul should go off and return to play when the injured player resumes, seems fair to me.

The amount of passbacks to keepers. I'd love to see more free kicks in the box, they're always exciting!

Supporters who have forgotten what it used to be like when "injured" players didn't have to leave the pitch. I am (just) old enough to remember when there were no substitutes!! Then just one allowed to replace an injured player!!!!!
