1) Clubs not living within their means 2) Bland out of town all seater stadiums 3) Ridiculous transfer fees paid for mediocre players 4) Ridiculous salaries paid to mediocre players 5) Nothing else seems to count apart from the champions league 6) The loan system 7) Football agents 8) The "fit and proper rule", hmmm 9) Parachute payments - how unfair is that when it's at home

Yes! Completely agree with this one! Any other time the ball goes out of play, it matters where it went out. Not for goal kicks though - why not? You don't get to choose which side you want to take a corner from. I could be wrong but I think it was originally designed to prevent time wasting by not forcing keepers to have to go from a certain side, ie the ball goes out on the left side for a goal kick, it ricochets to the right and the keeper has to go back to take it from the left. However it has of course resulted in the opposite as the keepers can waste time by choosing to changing sides. You can argue it's the FA being short sighted but players look to exploit any rules to their advantage

Corners where the ball clearly isn't in the quadrant Does'nt have to be mate. Apparently, the ball only has to be touching the quadrant, so it will look as if it is outside the quadrant when the ball is placed. Weird , and why the rule has changed defies logic.

I know that I have added it to my list above but how unfair is the parachute payments to relegated premier league clubs?!
Why should failure attract large sums of money and how unfair is it to other clubs in the championship?
Not a level playing field that's for sure and can result in yo yo clubs like QPR, West Brom, Norwich etc.

Football is a simple game really, whoever sticks the ball in the net the most wins. When the team wins supporters should be happy for the team. Not only that, it's both a tactical game and a physical game.
Therefore, I like watching the kick and rush, physical, high ball game adopted by managers such as Sam Allardyce just as much as the tippy-tappy stuff played by Barcelona and the Spanish national side.
So what winds me up is when supporters, pundits and so called purists 'mock' the high ball game as if anyone playing it or liking it is some village idiot type who has no place even watching a football game let alone having an opinion on it. Just get the fcking thing in the net !
That's about it really, i'm generally mild mannered and see it for what it is - just kicking a ball around a field.

My pet hate is referee's who take an age instructing players not to push, shove, grapple in the area when a free-kick has been awarded, or else. They are in the spotlight , and ain't they lovin' it. The ball comes in and guess what? There's pushing, shoving, even all in wrestling and still the ref. does sweet F.A. The same behaviour happening outside the penalty area and the ref cannot wait to show his control of the match and out comes the yellow or red card. Gutless.

Players sitting down injured, two feet from the touchline. Why can't football be like rugby, whereby the physio can come on the pitch to treat a player while the game continues. Also subs, that take forever to walk off the pitch. Substitutions should be roll on and off, as the game continues. When will football clubs realise they are in the entertainment industry

as a positive to the ref awarding a penalty and a red card, i would like to see a sin bin akin to rugby union used. yellow card 10 mins. red or penalty.
i cannot stand diving, shirt pulling, etc refs should stamp it out.

what really winds me up is when a player is injured by opposition, a free kick is awarded (penalty perhaps some seasons ago for us!!) the opposition player is booked, but our player has to leave the field of play.
gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it absolutely totally does my head in. we have an injured player and he has to go off. WTF.

Most annoying - loud negative individuals who shout at matches - usually the ones who appear to have no idea what they're going on about are the loudest of the lot!

Last minute substitutions. No possible reason for them other than to count the clock down a bit. Given the choice I'd make 85 minutes the cut off time for subs.

Referees who award a free kick but then when on reflection when reassessing their decision as being wrong even it up by whistling for a push in the box or something else largely imaginary as the free kick is taken...grrr

All seater stadiums.
Football being treated as a business and fans as customers.
Working people being priced out of watching their team live.
Too much football on TV.
Players rolling in 'agony' after any tackle that involves contact. I was brought up that football was a game for men and you tried never to show that an opponent had hurt you because that was a sign of weakness. I don't believe that footballers are any softer than other sportsmen, it's just that the game has developed a culture of cheating in which feigning injury is acceptable. I'm just back from watching some of the spring cycling classics in Belgium. In last Sunday's Tour of Flanders one of the Belgian riders fell and broke his elbow, then straight back on the bike to finish the race. After the race it was suggested to him that a footballer with the same injury would have been rushed to hospital. "Voetballers zijn mietjes", was his response. (footballers are poofters).

All of the foregoing winds me up.
Plus a Manager who cannot comment on an incident involving their player because he didn't see it for whatever reason. But strangely they have eyes like a s**thouse rat when it comes to an incident involving an opposition player .
To be honest Managers are just as bad as the players , cheating f.ckers most of them .

I have two!! 1, when the ref stops a corner taker from taking the kick because of pushing etc. if this happens you can bet money that as soon as the corner is taken he will blow for a free kick. 2, the applauding of subs as they come out to warm up!! I have never understood this. Does this happen elsewhere?? I don't understand it!!

1) Players that shepard the ball out of play, keeping another player away from the ball, which is obstruction, but ref's never give it. 2) People that say if a player is touched in the box they are entitled to go down, and look for a penalty. 3) People that say the prem is the best league in the world. 4) Arsene Wenger and the "I didn't see it" line. 5) Commentators that give the impression that all Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea/Man C have to do is turn up to win the match.
