0-3 down at home to Middlesboro after 20 minutes. Ouch! Norwich could go up tonight. Go on Holty lad!

Middlesbrough with nowt to play for deservedly spanking promotion chasing Cardiff.
Neither ours nor Wycombe's games will be straight-forward.

Love it And the self styled 'best fans in the world' walking out after less than half an hour too.................... £5 on Lita at 9/1 and a £5 double Lita going onto Holty at 4/1 first scorer makes the next couple of hours a bit more interesting anyway

Hope Norwich go up tonight as it would be great to see Holty scoring against Liverpool in the Prem next season Tierney is playing as well but will he be good enough for top flight football next season?

Not big odds so bigger wedge. Also a correct score on Norwich, (3-0) Can see the lot going down the pan. Unlucky mate, hope Holty scores for the Riversiders double, good bet.

On my way back now.
Absolutely shocking today, looks like play offs again.
One shot on goal all match. Bothroyd terrible, defence horrific.
Bellamy, McNaughton and Whittingham were the only good things.
Even if Norwich don't win tonight, they won't fail to beat Coventry.

Come on Swans! They are the acceptable face of Welsh football. Cardiff have awful fans and will be shocking once Bellamy goes back to Man City.

I was a bit harsh but remember they had to rely on a disasterous chipped Yann Kermorgant penalty to get there and promptly lost to a weaker on paper Blackpool team. It's not worth arguing about really as we'll see at the play-offs. I think there are better teams there.

Bellamy, Bothroyd, Chopra, Whittingham, Olofinjana, McNaughton, Parkin. The forward line alone is Premier League standard. I'm pleased for Norwich and QPR, and all that though. You say relying on a Kermorgant missed penalty, but we would have won anyway - after David Marshall saved the last penalty, from Martyn Waghorn.

Bothroyd is not prem quality ... He failed the last couple of times he's been there. I really hope both clubs stay down. The worst thing for english football would be to have a welsh team in the top flight!

Ned, you lost when you said Jon Parkin was Premier League standard! I meant to say Chopra, Bellamy, Bothroyd are Premier League standard. I know Chopra and Bothroyd failed they were last time in the Premier League, but they are both better players now. I must admit, I now find it difficult to see Cardiff City winning the play offs and wouldn't be at all surprised to see Sw*nsea winning it. Normally the team who just misses out on automatic promotion struggles in the play offs. I also fear that the key players will leave this Summer if CCFC do not get promoted - Bellamy, Bothroyd, Burke, Samuel, Olofinjana. I fail to get this "it would be a disaster if a Welsh club got promoted" nonsense.

You fear those key players will leave in the summer? Aren't Bellamy, Samuel and Olofinjana only on loan till the end of the season anyway and therefore always likely to leave? And the fact that bothroyd has still not signed a contract with it expiring this summer, means he's likely to go too.

Yes, even Adel Taarabt failed in the Prem. However, it does look as though Cardiff will lose Bellamy and Bothroyd and of course, when a team has to build an entirely new front line as they go up success is assured. I would quite like Swansea to go up because of their style of play and their brilliant rise up the leagues. If Cardiff go up good luck to them and I agree that this hatred of Welsh clubs is ridiculous.

It's a bit of a shame the entire Champtionship (QPR enquirey notwithstanding) has been resolved before the last day. Normally keeping an eye on the coverage of all the permutations in all of those games is one of the most exciting viewing spectacles of the season.
I'd probably put my money on Reading for the play-offs due to form, but of the contenders they're the one I'd least like to see go up. Cardiff and Swansea would both add something different, and although Forest aren't a huge club, they do have a certain aura about them and they've been gone for a while. It would also add a bit of geographical spread to the national league. Currently there isn't a single club in the top flight from east of the Pennines between Sunderland and London!

They're the ones that will almost definitely leave. Others are likely to move on I expect, if clubs come in for them. I agree, it's a shame that it's all been done and dusted. I also don't believe that QPR will have points deducted. A fine will be in place I believe. In the play offs this year, there are four excellent sides. All would benefit the Premier League IMO. Better than having quiet fans like Blackburn - although Reading fans are just as bad!

Probably because she is more of a professional than McNaughton. Disgraceful.
