and for the record gebba last time i saw pab i was running for my life ( aged about 12 ) and me and fingers have history the mods here don't hold a grudge they just use common sense No I never said there was any grudges or favouritism but I think there are people who have been on these boards a long longer and for whatever reason seem to be treated with a slightly bigger pinch of salt. Just a mere observation, nothing personal against anyone. But when someone new on the forum with 12 posts to their name says something inflammatory it does seem to be dealt with a slightly different tone than someone with 3000 posts for example. Its almost like a mcdonalds 'I have more stars than you' sort of attitude at times but I do trust the mods will sort it out in future. No hard feelings, people just need to get along

Gebba, it's probably becuase if soeone with few posts makes inflammatory comments it could be seen as benchmarking what they are likely to be like. I guess a Mod doesn't want to deal with someone posting only silly things. I guess you don't get to 1000's plus without posting something worthwhile along the way and not angering too many people? Of course Ed could be the exception to that

Hang on, my initial post was in relation to complaining about something which you had control over but still pursued which i thought was fair enough. If i go into an establishment and dont read the huge boards with the price on it, then complain about it after I have bought it i think that's a bit silly. The subsequent posts were and I thought that was understood, no animosity my end at all. The NHS has nothing to do with this I was just pulling your leg, I have noticed how you get wound up by that line time and time again. I think most Nurses are quite touchy . Pilch - History? You sound like a gilted Ex but surely the same applies to everyone who posts about everything on here? not happy with towns performance at burton? your own fault, shouldnt have gone and watched it having problems with your O2 network? well dont come on here moaning, change your operator. we have control over everthing we do yet we choose to share and discuss it on here, isnt that the whole point of a message board? if we chose not discuss the things we where not happy about and only posted about things that filled our hearts with gladness, this would be p**s boaring place. as for the nhs maybe im a bit touchy, i remember some tit not long ago having another dig about being bored whilst waiting 3 hours in a and e and the nurses being stood talking to each other instead of putting on a cabaret for him. not sure who it was but he certainly wasnt pulling my leg. if im getting you all wrong then i apologise, im all for a bit of leg pulling and a p**s take, as several on here will testify, can take as good as i give, but maybe having no idea who or what you are and having little if any banter with you in the past, its quite easy for me to misinterpret your playfull japes. so, sorry for any offence caused. by the way you have forgotten to add what you do for a living mate so we can all pull your leg

No hard feelings, people just need to get along you have basically summed up life there the only advantage that established members have over new members is we all know when they are acting out of character and know it will blow over as for someone with more posts getting away with more than new posters i'm sure SSS will say you don't dr crippen is close to getting banned and currently banned are Dand & heavenly shrew and for the record when Ant was the main mod he used to kick my ass quite often all those mentioned are probably in the top 10 for amounts of posts

Wasn't me moaning about A&E - other half is a nurse and she always falls for the 'NHS is going dow the pan' line. You concluded I was unemployed

You made a below the belt snide remark that provoked a response. Now you are trying to backtrack and claim it was a joke/banter, whatever. Why don't you just apologise, you were talking about food prices and you got personal, when their was no need.

Back on subject of food / drink, I have bought nothing this season from the buffet and don't intend to at those prices.
For the children I always take food / drink along within what is allowed in the stadium (i.e. pop up top drinks, not bottled top) This I have in writing from the club after various arguments with stewards in the past as one would say one thing, another something else.
I haven't had a problem in the past few years on that score now.
Back to pricing, I think Jenny's (if they set the prices) are pricing themselves out of the market as a few I know who used the buffet, aren't now.
