Absolutely agree! What a bunch of mindless retards!
Bur once again our stewarding wa awful!
The clown in the red top at the end got marched the whole length of the pitch then chucked out to walk round to his mates for the inevitable fight outside!
Surely the police should have arrested the idiot

Idiots. Running on the pitch after the third goal, one chap went straight to the Oxford fans.
Then a lad in an Oxford shirt went straight for Ben Smith at full-time, the team surrounded him and pulled him away
A shame, and I hope they all receive banning orders.

On sky every time they went to Dean Windass you could see fans taunting opposition. Any trouble at the game involving fans?

Idiots who caused the trouble today really are a joke - people in their late 20s and 30s - some very over weight looking for a fight is just very very sad
Think it's time as a club we take a stricter attitude to them - more monitoring of ticket sales in those blocks, banning of those spotted causing trouble and perhaps paying for extra policing to nail the problem.

appalling behaviour today from shrews fans !
the guy that ran on the pitch (black trackie bottoms and grey hoodie), and then run to the oxford fans taunting etc - why ?
supposed town fans fighting with each other - whats that all about ?
very dissapointing !

Would much prefer a smaller crowd against torquay if it means we dont have these idiots at the match.

Totally agree we don't want them or need them. Am I right in that a lot of them were allowed to stand in the gangway during the match? If so why didn't the stewards make them sit down? An accident waiting to happen.

Not a lot of club colours on show.
nor brain cells.
A good reminder of how well behaved our fans actually are over the course of a season.
I'm glad we weren't playing hereford / vale today

Absolute scum, the lot of them! Stupid little chavs who really should've grown up by now. It's so sad that they keep blighting our club, especially when we have so much to be positive about.
The ars***** in the red jumper was just let go outside the ground. He deserved a damn good kicking & should've at least been arrested.
Will the club do anything? I doubt it!
The occasionally vile atmosphere in block 18 is the reason I've now moved, along with my young son, further towards the south end of the ground.
Well done to the VAST majority of supporters though, who created a really good atmosphere today. Lets make it a permanent feature, eh?

I was in Block 19, and it was disgraceful the behaviour from the Town fans. Apparently, Some-one pushed a child on the floor deliberately and then everyone got involved. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour for so-called adults!

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour for so-called adults! Thats how i saw it aswell disgraceful behaviour especially in front of young Kids, Stewards were a digrace aswell, stood by and watched it for a few minutes before going in, there were young kids caught up in it, and when our 3rd went in some idiots went on the pitch, stewards caught hold of one then put him back over the hoardings, so when full time came he went back on the pitch to confront the Oxford fans

Not wanted in any football ground of course, theres no defending it, but if you want to label every single person in blocks 18 and 19 as mindless violent hooligans then give me a PM and il meet you for a pint in Torquay, because you couldnt be further from the truth.

I was giving the red top guy a lot of abuse as he was marched past the West Stand as I assumed he was an Oxford fan. I saw him fighting with a fat guy in a pink shirt who was definitely a Town fan.

He was a Town fan too, i think the bloke in the pink was just putting him in his place, i dont know much about it but im pretty sure the lad in the red was a Town fan.

The club really need to do something about some of the retards in blocks 18 & 19. We don't need their kind of "support". We'd all be better off without them.
I don't wish to tar the rest of the support in these two blocks with the same brush, as the majority are good supporters who just enjoy the close proximity of the away end & engage in a bit of banter.
But, as thinks keep turning nasty, it seems to me that due to the weakness/ineptitude of the stewarding in this area we need a greater police presence within the stadium. We keep being reminded in the media of how banning orders are implemented on football fans, but these retards just keep getting away with shaming our club.
Rather than an off-the-cuff Ryan Jervis appeal, I'd like to hear the club make a statement that they're intent on making it safer to bring children to the Greenhous Meadow, and what action they'll take to stop these scumbags. Then, most importantly, follow it up!

no one is saying all fans in those blocks are twits Danny Some people are from the way i read it! Obviously i know not everyone sees it like that, but theres a very big group of us who sit there for the atmosphere who have never got into any major trouble at Town games before, who dont want to be labelled the same as a few idiots who turn up for the big matches, as i said what some people did is undefendable and we let ourselves down much more then the Oxford fans did.

While I've said in the past that football fans shouldn't have to modify their behaviour in order to create a mother-and-toddler friendly atmosphere, what I mean by this is people going to football should expect noise, a few naughty words and perhaps the odd salty chant.
What happened today was an utter embarrassment. When Oxford chanted 'You're just a Town full of w****rs', it's difficult to disagree that we seem to have more than our fair share.
My Mum and my wife were both in block 18 today - as were several other women as well as some youngish kids. At one point I was getting worried the fighting was going to spill over into where we were sat.
And, of course, the majority of us blokes were also there to enjoy an exciting end to the football season, not to get caught up in a ruck between a bunch of brainless, off-their-tits chavs.
What truly defies belief though, is that as the second half began, these dickheads re-appeared in the Block and returned to their seats!
How the **** was that allowed to happen?!

Agreed, im sure like most i have seen plenty of people getting kicked out of away grounds for doing nothing whatsoever, but that is quite puzzling. I think its pretty obvious the stewards have no control over block 19 at all, literally no control, they stand at the front and stop people getting on the pitch but thats about it, in all honesty it works out well for me because i can stand for 90 minutes and have a nice song and dance when we win! And thats usualy fine, but when it comes to big games like Vale, Hereford and today, it is genuinely dangerous with so many people standing on the stairs.
