Dreadful - really puts the everyday nonsense into perspective. Full of admiration for Hannah for completing that run. I lost family to something similar last year and was shocked at the speed of deterioration. Genuinely tragic for such a young lad and his family.

Yes, 21 just way too young. Very sad.
Last year one of my work colleagues died of something similar after quite a long battle where she appeared to get better and then went downhill very quickly.
My personal tribute to her was to put my name on the Bone Marrow registry which I did when I went to give blood but you can also do via The Antony Nolan Trust too. Her death brought home to me that for a little discomfort I could improve somebodys life massively.

I believe this is the same lad I gave a lift to, to the Lincoln away game this year. Very sad news, he mentioned his illness, but seemed ever so upbeat never the less. Only knew him for one evening, but still ever so shocked to hear this news.
RIP Ed.

Extremely sad news.
Experiences like this really make you sit up, take stock and be grateful for what you have.
I didn't know Ed personally, however, my thoughts and prayers are with all those that are close to him.
R.I.P. young man

I met Ed on a few occassions through being a fellow Shrew in Sheffield. Always seemed like a really nice lad, a real shame.

Knew him through Tom and always seemed like a nice lad. Only saw him a couple of weeks ago at the home game Vs Accrington.
Such a shame.
RIP Ed, thoughts are with the family.

horrific. Went to school with him, but hadn't spoken to him for years, had absolutely no idea he was ill. Hope he didn't feel much pain, RIP to the lad.
