I really wanted to like it, but I don't. I don't think the colour is right, I detest Lenny the feckin' logo, the sponsors logo should have been on the sleeve and JOMA should have been on the back below the collar, so all in all a major disappointment and a shirt that I won't be purchasing.
I'll instead be looking to buy a blue and a red polo shirt or similar and get the loggerheads embroidered on it, maybe with 125 underneath.

Let's just get something straight here, the likes of NickO, mccshrew and 1 or 2 individuals on Facebook, I support the club in many ways from being a season ticket holder travelling to both home and away games to Super Blues and Gold Bond member and do not take joy or pleasure in hoping that the club fall flat on its arse with whatever venture they put on for the fans etc, far from it, I applaud their efforts - on this occasion I originally thought that 80 was a poor turnout, though figures by some put the attendance at almost twice that, which is far better, the statement I made of not being a roaring success was not a slight on the clubs efforts at all, if I didn't live almost 70miles away I myself would've attended - I just wondered if the kit style, colour and badging etc had any effect on numbers in attendance, hence my comment about only 80 supporters showing up,(I wondered if the 2 could be connected), I was later corrected and am pleased for both club and those who went along. As for comments on another thread about the Greenhous Meadow sign, I'm indifferent about it really as I rarely go to the front of the stadium though I do believe that it being at the centrepiece of the stadium as visitors arrive and in the main eyeline as you approach he main entry it would've looked better with the same appearance as the sponsors logo seen on the shirts. Whether or not the blue flashes are there bothers me not as to its' importance, just my initial reaction to how I saw it. And on that note I look forward to August 7th with anticipation, c'mon you blues! PS: And yes I will be purchasing home and away shirts for both my son and I! I didn't question your level of support Martin, nor do you need to justify it. My question was the amount of people required to make it a success. No doubt the Club may have been disappointed with the attendance, but they put on a good evening so they should be happy with that.
