So, we're nearly there. The new Prime Minister, new government or no change at all will be confirmed tomorrow/early Friday.
On this thread, people can talk about what they're expecting from the General Election. Who will win? Will it be enough for them to move in to number 10? How will it be recieved by you?
It is the closest General Election for a VERY long time. It could have horrible effects on this country or great news. We still won't know the answer to that tomorrow, mind.
My personal view is that I live in hope that David Cameron is not the new Prime Minister. I can't stand the thought of it. I would feel FAR more comfortable with Gordon Brown. Not a fan of the Conservatives anyway.
What's your view? Also, feel free to post your views on your local candidates.
After the results have been announced, what is your opinion on it?
You can catch live coverage of the General Election on both BBC ONE and ITV1 between the hours of 9.30pm and 6am.

submitted my postal vote last week.
Voted Labour
the british electoral system is a long way from perfect, the last 30 years has shown us the benefits (labour government) and pitfalls (tory government), but i see it as my duty and responcibility to vote, regardless of whether i can find a party to vote for that suits every detail of my life and political ideology.
if you are over 18 its your duty to vote. people gave their lives for it. around the world today, people still give their lives for it.
So go out there to your local polling station and do the right thing.
VOTE LABOUR

Whichever of the three main leaders comes last could be approached to be new Town director of football and then could spin Town to promotion next season.

Does this thread being highlighted in blue make it biased in some way? Also, Ned, not that I like to get involved, but it's this sort of self-indulgent s**te that winds people up. And you're not some sort of Che-like forum revolutionary, it's just a bit irritating.

Ok, I apologise to people if it's irritating.... not intentional. I will do my best not to do things like this in future.

Btw i thought postal voted are were only for the frail and fat people Na,postal votes are for bigots. i fall squarely into heavenlys fat category. Reason i put in a postal vote was because originaly i was working a long day today, which is 7 am to 9 30 pm. However due to staff sickness i have had to change my shifts to have a day off today and work the weekend instead. Vote Labour.
