Every now and again I seem to spot a Salop fan in a random place. Today it was in Banbury town centre and the lad was wearing plenty of Salop gear, nice one Where's the most random place you've seen a Town fan?

Met someone in a town shirt in Magaluf a few years back, but then that's not all that surprising. Also Glastonbury, Cambridge city centre (not when we were playing them) and Edinburgh. They get about.

I was at a train station in Woy Woy, near Sydney Australia, wearing my town top, when an Aussie came up to me claiming he'd supported Salop since he worked in London and his boss, who was an exiled Shrew, him to a few games.
That was pretty random.
Dachs - that might have been me in Cambridge or Glastonbury?!

bumped into robspaceman (think thats his usser name) at glasto a couple of years ago.
Amy saw a salop fan in the same exam que as her at notts uni.
A lot of people recognise the shirt/badge, I've gone to random markets in spain and around the Uk and people will be like "that a shrewsbury shirt? My old mans from there or something". Most recent one was on tuesday, trying to flog some dodgy oasis t-shirts

Sat next to me in a bar in South London in 1993 asking the barmaid to put teletext on to see how Town had got on (it was Robbie Turner day ). A good excuse to get drunk if ever I'd had one. Turned out his family home was only a mile from mine...........

After having been travelling for 13 hours back from Vegas by greyhound checked into Hollywood Youth Hostel in the early morning, so settled in and found out they had British TV on upstairs and that Man U vs Southampton was about to start (man u lost to the saints that day I think!!) Anyway walked into this big TV room and there was a lad from Monkmoor sitting in there with a town top!!! Really really strange moment He’s gone off travelling again now get the odd email from him every now and again asking about the town

Greenwich Park with 40,000 other idiots preparing to run the London Marathon. A few days before on this very board one of our fellow posters said that he too was running and wasn't sure whether to wear the famous blue and amber kit or his usual running gear. Imagine my surprise when I lined up amongst Rhinos Wombles and other creatures to find myself standing next to a bloke in full blue and amber town kit !! I said "you decided against the running gear then?" Blank look "I see you decided on the Town kit then, I'm Watfordshrew" Polite smile and nod obviously hadn't got a clue what I was on about!! I then had a brief conversation with another runner about Mike Sheron and then we were off. Bizarre !!

At uni in lancaster ive seen a few people in salop shirts. I wore mine a day after the playoff final and saw at least 4 salop shirts at crewe station on the way back up to lancaster. One guy stopped to speak to me asked if I sat in the Boothen or Sentinal. Seen a couple in Manchester in the Deansgate/Salford area.
