3 favourite Luke Rodgers memories. 3. Hat-trick at Rochdale, stunning.... 2. The 2 goals at Southend..even more stunning 1. Running Everton ragged, and the picture that appeared in the national papers of you running from the subs bench in your jacket and jumping on the bundle of players celebrating with Jemmo. thank you luke

a leadi ng light in what can only be describe as a turbulent 6/7 years. Lead by example on the pitch (most of the time) 4. A hatrick of penalties against Barnet in the play-offs 3. Goal against Dale to put us top 2.Hatrick of supreme goals against Kiddie at the meadow. 1. Goal at Kiddie, the season we went down, that shut the feckers up. My heart is broken

Sad to see him go but my favourite moment was in the last minute at Rochdale 0-0 then he scores in the dying seconds after a trademark mazy run. Put us top, bloody fantastic!

Two goals against York. The first one was 2000-2001 season at the Gay Meadow: The York attack broke down from a corner and Jags broke away slide rule pass to Luke on the left. beat a few defenders. looked as though he was lining up a shot but cut inside across the penalty. looked as though he was going to shoot, kept going and then smacked it. I emailed that one to the Irish FA. The relegation season at home to York. the equalising goal at the Wakeham end. hardly any backlift, like a rocket. First league goal against Brighton. Made a little space and smack - near post. His first couple of goals at home in the Conf had a touch of class about them - impossible angles. The brace at home to Tamworth. Playing for England at the Meadow. I've got an autographed photo on the wall in my study and it will be there forever, even if he scores bucketloads against us. I've got to tell the kids this tonight. Let's have a Luke Rodgers DVD.

Luke - you've been such fantastic value, really want to see you moving on up and achieving your ambitions.
- all your goals, so full of joy - all those 6'+ Chelsea internationals bouncing off you - you and Jemmo, a brilliant partnership - 200% committment however bad it got - keeping your nerve at crucial times - all the memories that everyone else has mentioned
I've always thought a Luke Rodgers video would light up anyones day - so I'd be well up for a compilation
