It means that I'm surprised these people who claim to be British are not joining in and celebrating a true 'British' occasion.
Perhaps they couldn't give a damn after all JP, what do you think?

Well firstly wishing the happy royal couple is all well and good, but your pop at ethnic groups is so wrong, why dont you people just let it go, these people have a right to live here just like we would have a right to live were we wanted to. Be it white, black it doesnt matter and should'nt matter....this is 2005 deal with it! BTW I have only looked at the people viewing the wedding for 10 seconds and have seen stacks of ethnic's and good on them

Was that Chris J cowardly quakering near the Guildhall steps I wonder? I would not think so. If Chris had something to say he would say it. At least Chris is a real person who has registered on this site, go's to games and makes a point of having a chat whenever we meet.

Once again your logic is completely flawed mate. (Nothing different there, then) You imply that, IF there are few non whites watching this event, it implies some sort of lack of 'Britishness'. What utter rot! I am, actually, the type of person that you would consider to be 'British'. I meet all the criteria that the moronic right would believe essential to be defined as such. However, I have not, nor will at any time, waste my time watching a jumped up, pompous, prat, marry some equally obnoxious bint. So, it follows, at least to anyone not blinded by bigotry, that the views on this nausiating load of pap, is nothing to do with colour, religeon, ethnic background etc, but more to do with individual views of politics, the monarchy, republicanism etc. "celebrating a true 'British' occasion" Don't make me laugh. Winning the Ashes back next summer. Kelly Holmes with 2 Olympic golds. Now those really are 'British' achievments worth celebrating

really chuffed that the guy who will never be king is helping to push my tax up slightly more...... i am very british but would never even consider going to line the street of a very british do like this, would much rather watch paint dry, IMO, the royal family should pick up the security tab here not the taxpayer...

Just finished watching the wedding - quite a historic weekend, what with the Pope's funeral too. Nothing like a bit of pomp and circumstance, though the trumpeteer make a few duff notes during their exit from the chapel!!!

May i add my voice to the "Brit who doesnt give a s**t" corner.
I dont wish them any harm, i just see them as irelevant, rather sad and a historical throw back that we can easily live without.
I want to here Lenins veiw on the subject ;D

Good luck to Mr and Mrs Windsor, just do the decent thing and relinquish any rights to the throne. Defender of the faith - my arse.
