I rarely see any club bashing on this board - and certainly there's been none today.

Club employees who see a post from a fan on B&A and sit sulking about it rather than thinking 'hey that's a decent idea, that could benefit our club'.

* The free spending policy we allowed Quinn post May 2004 * Lack of foresight over income streams at the New Meadow and provisions for the fanbase * Lack of foresight on ticketing issues * Inability to take constructive criticism.

The boards inability to see money making opportunities. i.e supporters bar at New meadow...sometimes you have to spend money to make money.
But obviously not if it gets us into debt....

shall we start with yeovil tickets.... A justified post and questions that i wanted answered, nowt wrong with that. While i'm here will i have to go through the same process if i goto Rushden tomorrow or can i pay on the gate , have looked in the press and shrewsweb all week with no information, pretty much as what i did last week before the Yeovil game and the rest was then history..........

Supporters bar would be great, i didn't realise there wasn't go to be one. you could also hire it out for gentlemans evenings and club staff could get in free!!
The New Meadow will not be that easy to get to will there be somewhere for those fans who whish to cycle there to put there bikes - somepeople will find that tedious but i think there will be more people cycling there than go in wheel chairs.
why not have more amber in the home kit - everyone wants it and not white.
apologise about Bury, i've seen excuses but no apologies to fans. i was in Bury had 2 quick pints and then realised no game. if i'd klnown earlier i would have drunk my pints much slower as i had to drive back and couldn't have anymore. there isn't much else to do up there

I've been to Rushden a few times - it's either been all-ticket or pay on the gate. Things that I'd like to see the club take more advantage of: 1. Look at other money making or publicity schemes that other football clubs are running 2. The fans opinions i.e. on ticketing issues etc...

This will make dull reading pretty soon I will continue to comment on issues as and when they arise, and will not be posting any (fully justified)complaints about the Club on this thread. Will that annoy him without even being a complaint

I would like to see the club address the apparently endless stream of Complimentary tickets that swill around the ground in the build up to kick off. There must be at least a couple of hundred people who don't pay to get in which, if true, is an awful lot of income spread out over a season.
Do away with complimentary's and have more imaginative ticketing initiatives.

Lack of openenss about what actually happens around and in the club.
Wyngrove and and our lovely new director...
supporters bar? club shop? club kit? half season tickets?
whats the point of consulting supporters groups etc... when little is taken on board???
The fact we have 3/4 middle aged/old directors who seem oblivious to decent marketing and communication with the local community.
Look at AFCT for crying out loud!!!! They struggled to get a shirt sponser a couple of years ago and now look at them!!!!

1. Over charging for s**t food 2. Lack of innitiative, when it comes to special offers for kids etc (Telfords set a good example) 3. Directors who can't see past the end of their selfish noses (Supporters Bar) 4. Lack of a supporters representitve at board meetings. 5. Truth, when people are silenced when they leave the club (supposedly) ie. Cramb 6. No blue and amber seating at the The New meadow, when a clear responce from the fans is for it. 7. Crap Suporters Bar at the New Meadow 8. Crap Suporters Bar at the New Meadow 9. Crap Suporters Bar at the New Meadow 10 Crap Suporters Bar at the New Meadow Thought I would bring that up again

maybe so... however he does run his own shop, and have considerable links through his former profession (physio) and charity links. What sort of dumbass eejits would turn down a man with his potential for such an important job??? The same people who would appoint someone (without advertising the post) whos has the unenviable record of being envolved in Chester and Wrexhams downfall... Our loss AFCT gain....
