i know ferjiri is not in favour but he could play as a winger Nah Rickets is too stubborn, once you’ve crossed him that’s it Fey told SR that he doesn’t want to play for Shrewsbury, so it’s only fair of the manager to respect his wishes.

Hurst tends to favour players that he has worked with before; Fey was signed by Askey if my memory serves me correctly.

whilst you have to be pragmatic and what he says is true but do any of them have his pace? With the amount of players he had to aim at once he got up the pitch does it really matter? He never had any bugger to cross to anyhow once he'd skinned someone, the few who did look to venture forward didn't manage to keep up...

Then again, he didn't find them very often when they were up there waiting for his corners. Started with a couple of shockers on Tuesday.

Or a manager who doesn't want to manage Shrewsbury. It's only fair for a Chairman to respect his wishes, and watch as he tries to slyly better himself, and make a duck's arse of it. Then be unemployed, because other clubs have heard about his reputation, and the said person finally finds a club, scrambles about a league below, desperately looking over his shoulder for fear of relegation. If that scenario arose, I'd enjoy it......

If true then unfortunately if a player says he doesn't want to play for the club, whoever it is, should be moved on or banished to the reserves, as he has no value with that mindset. Doesn't matter what he has done in the past as it's not going to continue in the future. As for SR, taking the Ferguson approach that nobody is bigger than the club is spot on. This sort of scenario can have a huge effect in the dressing room if players are allowed to strut around thinking they are untouchable. Ask anyone who runs a business and they will tell you no one is indispensable, regardless how important they, or others, think they are.

Was interesting that Laurent and Norburn both tweeted about the ‘togetherness’ after the Bristol game. Other than Tuesday night, something might have gone on behind the scenes which has made them feel more together.

Fey was lucky he had a run in the team as long as he did. Looks so uninterested p@ss poor season be lucky if Telford want him.

"Maybe he will be able to come back". What exactly are the rules relating to players who are on a season long loan who are then recalled by the parent Club? Are they allowed to come back within the original loan period? Yes he would be allowed to come back in the January window. Hart hasn't been given Giles' no. 11 shirt, as sometimes happens when one loan player leaves and another replaces them, he's been given the no. 42 shirt. I'm not sure anything can be read into that though.

He may not be consistent (not many wingers which essentially what he is - are, particularly at Giles' age) but he's one of the few players we have that can conjure something from nothing.
In a side that struggles to create and score goals that is going to be missed. It is a blow.
I've heard some good things about Hart, though, even if his stats don't look that promising.
