Love, Sears, Ramsey, Golbourne, Hart, Giles. Is this part of the new Ricketts double wings backs master plan? Peters eat your heart out.

Shame that Giles won't be able to play at Anfield next Tuesday, even we do get him back.

Why couldn't Giles play at Anfield ? He wasn't at the club for the first Liverpool game, only players at the club at the time of the original game are eligible for the replay.

So do I have it right that permanent transfers need to be completed by the end of the day but loans can be arranged for some time after? So I gather we might not hear anything about Docherty today (other than he has headed off someplace else for a fee). I don't think so, there is some leeway in terms of getting paperwork completed but after the window closes it's emergency loans only in very specific circumstances, like not having a senior goalkeeper available. To be more specific. "as per EFL rules, clubs can be given until 1am to complete the deal - providing that the club have submitted a 'Deal Sheet'."
"These sheets provide details of the impending transfer and confirm that an agreement has been reached, before providing clubs with extra time in which to submit all the required documentation."

Is it just me or would anyone else like to see him here on loan. He could being a fair bit of what we don't have to the club. Although I suspect we can't afford him be interesting to see where he ends up and how he gets on.

I’d prefer if we signed Lang on a permanent deal to be honest to finish the window off rather than any other players.

Perhaps not but I just think that he is the type of player that we don't currently have and think we could do with from time to time. Save us throwing Becks up there when we are chasing a game. I mean I'm sure Ricketts would love to have him with us but I think he's out of our league

Well I don't suppose Giles cares whether its blue and amber or sky blue but what was the point of that, he was recalled for what? One game where he was sat on the bench?

This transfer window is becoming abit of a joke . Seems most clubs in our league have strengthened really well. We really need to go for someone like Leon Clarke on loan

Not a lot happening is there. I'm a bit embarrassed about it to be honest (just in case Pilch finds out ) but I'm just hanging around and staying up until there is some word on Docherty...👍

If Wolves recalled Giles from a season long loan to sit on the bench and then, when we are willing to have him back, send him elsewhere I’d think twice about ever taking a loanie off them ever again.

Not a good reflection on the club if Giles / Wolves choose Coventry over us, unless suddenly there’s a fee?

I was already thinking that after they recalled him to sit on the bench, knowing how much that would disrupt our team. Surely with the squad that Wolves have, it wasn't necessary? However, that would knock out one of SR's contacts!

However, that would knock out one of SR's contacts! Wolves recalled Giles as cover for Jonny because of the injury to Vinagre. Vinagre is still out for some time and they haven't signed a new left back since. So unless they do sign a new left back before the window closes I don't understand how they can now afford to let Giles out on loan again.

I think Coventry's talented young left back signed for Norwich today so this makes sense.

"Sam Ricketts' side were thought to be keen on securing a return for the talented attacking midfielder but have turned their attention to other targets, paving the way for Mark Robins' side to hijack any deal." this was copied from the link i presume after siging the winger he was surplus to requirments ?

Giles wasn’t even playing that often, think his exit was a little overhyped. With Sam Hart joining the club alongside Golbourne at LB/LWB I don’t see why we’d try and add Giles to that too, squad is becoming unbalanced.
