did you ever go to bolton when we played them on Boxing Day ? it was the most windiest stadium I'd ever been in, it was quite painful in fact, never wanted a final whistle more than that day far windier inside the ground than outside it and yet, best looking ground I've been to in recent seasons too ps I used to work for the railway and saved them over 100K the last year I was there with software I wrote that they continue to use I remember that Boxing Day at Bolton, definitely one of the coldest days I’ve ever felt at a game, remember sheltering for cover at half time in the concourse with my dad. You clearly didn't go to the Sc***hrope Snow Stormageddon match in the Hurst season.... NEVER will anyone be that cold... almost life threatening!

would be windy and soul-less then.Foresight to build a proper stadium. So it's gone over budget? Should have had Pilch managing budget, could have done HS2 at same time did you ever go to bolton when we played them on Boxing Day ? it was the most windiest stadium I'd ever been in, it was quite painful in fact, never wanted a final whistle more than that day far windier inside the ground than outside it and yet, best looking ground I've been to in recent seasons too ps I used to work for the railway and saved them over 100K the last year I was there with software I wrote that they continue to use Went to Burnley New Year's Day,that was cold and draughty too yet some of the locals were in t- shirts. Perhaps it's true we're all southern softies?.Would be a darn sight warmer at Turf Moor if they filled all the corners in though. Just a thought, perhaps you could have a word with the Railways, talk them out of the HS 2 line that most of the country don't want or need. Complete waste of taxpayers money that could be re-directed to lower league football cubs, or health service, local policing etc, etc. .Rail service is a shambles anyway, can't believe you're owning up to any input into that organisation. If you've saved them that much money why aren't they passing it onto the paying customer

If you've saved them that much money why aren't they passing it onto the paying customer I worked for network rail, I think the only thing they charged the public for was to use the toilets, haven't they made them free recently ? anyway, im not going to get into a debate with the railway with you, you'll only cry if I quote a fact, you already seem to know it all anyway, good luck with your hs2 protest, perhaps having Dr Beeching as your grandad helps.

We've needed HS2 for years. A big decision on whether this goes ahead is expected in weeks.

I was listening to that game on the radio whilst driving from Hereford to my parents house in Telford, and was interesting listening to Dunny’s observations of it at the time, one minute he said the game could be in danger the next he said it was fine!

Lovely story. All the best to them. With all the clubs struggling to make ends meet (for whatever reason) its nice to hear of something positive.

I don’t remember the “fine” bit. Even walking (staggering) to the car at the end, into the teeth of a mega blizzard was a task that I have no wish to repeat in a hurry.
