Can someone please do a bit of a look back at both the League and FA Cup draws over the last few seasons and confirm that we always get drawn at home. Used to be regularly drawn away ( including Histon and Blyth)

I don't suppose it's the tie either of us wanted. I was hoping for an away tie to somewhere we haven't played before.

I do tend to look to whether Staines, Histon or Blyth have made it through as any of them would be my preferred draw. It would be nice to lay some ghosts to rest... You never can though, not really. They had their day then and, if we were to get an expected win now, it wouldn't really even things up or exorcise the demon. That's fine with me - good luck to them. It works in our favour when I think of our past cup victories - they're immortal. Maybe. I dunno. The Kickers have dropped so low now that we came across a side that we played in the WFV Pokal a couple of seasons ago. They were a good few divisions below us at the time when we played them. That was in the final and it was at home at the Waldau. We were expected to win it at a canter. We lost. That hurt. Seeing us give them a darn good 5-1 thrashing the other week certainly went someway towards easing the pain that's for sure...

Why? Are they going to chip in a few quid to Thomas Cook as well whilst they're at it? Absolutely no need for yhem to do this at all particularly as they're potentially missing out on gate recepits too.

Last time we got drawn away in the cup was Cardiff City (Jan 16) - as previously mentioned it is now 12 consecutive draws where we have been drawn at home!
Last time drawn away in the League Cup was Nottingham Forest in Aug 2017. Two home ties since - both lost!!

Bury consistently overpaid for big players knowing full well if they didn’t get promotion they’d go down the plug hole, were they thinking about Chichester or any other side when they were throwing money at Beckford etc? We’re they ****, Chichester should look after themselves.

I think its a nice gesture, although I guess the only concern is who is deemed to be 'the appropriate organisation involved with the continuation of Bury FC'. How it'll be spent.

I would strongly suggest that Chichester City FC hold onto all their prize money for the moment. Bury FC is not a good cause at the moment, certainly not until the dust has settled.

No surprise to see that gobs**te Adrian Durham criticising Chichester’s reaction to the bye.

So how does that work?! I like the selection, will settle down and watch them for sure...but that Carlisle and Pompey fans have to do that on weekday...

The tv companies just chose what they want for whatever schedule they have. And feck the travelling supporters, they just dont exist as far in the tv companies eyes.

Carlisle should be pleased they didn’t draw Dover away.

Based on a few posts on the Carlisle forum they don't seem too bothered about the date and time of their game. They're more concerned about being humiliated on national TV. At least, unlike the Harrogate v Pompey game, their game is live on free to air TV.

It's 3pm on Saturday, not unsuprisingly it hasn't been moved to the Sunday lunchtime.

An FA cup game on a Saturday at 3 pm. That’s a bit of a novelty nowadays 😂
