Like how the BT commentators refered to Ricketts leaving Wrexham to go to a bigger club.
Only really seen Wrexhams league position - hadn't realised quite how poor they are though

All kicking off. Bobby Grant scores a penalty. The Sutton GK picks the ball up and Grant tries to snatch it off him. GK shoves Grant in the chest, Grant goes down holding his face.

HUGHES HAS GOT TO GO! HE'S GOT NO EXPERIENCE. A JOKE OF AN APPOINTMENT! HE CAN SHARE A TAXI WITH HIS ASSISTANT & COACHING STAFF AS WELL. AND.....A COUPLE OF BOARD MEMBERS CAN SQUEEZE IN THE BOOT AS WELL! BON VOYAGE!

Good to see Hughes thanking the Wrexham massive at the end of the game. Pity 7,000 of them mist tit as they were still queuing at the buffet.

Fair play notorious , you take some stick on here yet come back for more every time . Yes, you realise Wrexham are total s**te but still support them even though your Manager is a flipin liability too. I live 3 doors down from Quigleys mum and dad , I’ll give them a knock if you like and see if he will come back to you lot . To finish I note jt is on top form giving you lot absolute s**t , lovely 😊 to see , a Master at work . Read and learn owd lad .

JT knows our crowds have been exceptional. And still, 3800 turn up today, without a win in 5 games, and the game on TV etc He can't really belittle our crowds. Not when STFC had a pitiful Cup crowd v local rivals Vale earlier in the season. Bryan Hughes' appointment was a total joke. Most Wrexham fans expected to see him gone by Christmas. No one's surprised, the least of all me. Just skip over to RP to see the discontent.. You're hardly lighting up League One are you? 15th. Hardly firing all cylinders? I think in the back of your minds you know that Ricketts isn't going to succeed. A big disappointment, after all the expectation of coming so near, so far at Wembley a couple of seasons ago... And then....you sacked Coyne who'd won 5 from his last 6 games? Replaced him with Askey who hadn't experience in that League.. You had a total flop of a season last term. You were flipin' lucky you didn't go down.. Hughes will be gone before the end of September. Ricketts will be clearing out his second desk in less than 12-months at sometime..

You keep coming here and saying we’re not setting League One alight, WE NEVER SAID WE WOULD! But you keep ignoring my replies. You’re the only one who’s turned up here trying to raise our expectations, then when we don’t reach those expectations you can have your laugh, even though we’re not the ones saying we’re brilliant or Ricketts is brilliant in the first place. Difference between us and you is we know our place. We know at this stage we don’t have a great League One side, and we know Ricketts isn’t some super hero manager. You on the other hand are yearning for the days you could compete with teams like us in the football league instead of s**t houses like Sutton, considering how long you’ve been down there you still haven’t accepted the situation, we accept where we are as a club. 3,800 is a s**t crowd in a s**t league watching a s**t team, you’d think you’d be used to it by now.

It's plain to see. 15th No one's getting excited at Shrewsbury this season. I've got contacts there. It's not a 'happy ship' apparently.... I broke the news about 'pinky boots', the Star's involvement in Snakey Sam's departure from The Racecourse. Seven days. 7 days after he stood up in the Turf in front of dai-hard supporters and said:'I'm going nowhere..' Scheming....B Let's see where you are at Christmas eh? I can only see you dropping further nearer the relegation trapdoor. It's nailed on though. Congratulations to punters who the Acton Corbetts Wrexham shop who the 2/1 on Graham barrow to be the next caretaker of Shrewsbury. 2/1

You keep banging on about our position in LEAGUE 1, you'd give your last sheep to be in that position. I can't imagine you'll be able to afford to sack Hughes, who incidentally is doing a splendid job.

It's a nice feeling winning at Wembley Nice for the club reords, general football facts, figures, statistics etc It's well-publicised Shrewsbuorry haven't done it. Bottled it. A couple of seasons ago...again. It's an even nicer feeling to have won another domestic cup at The Millenium, whilst Wembley was being rebuilt. Never mind the European Cup Winners adventures. Losing to winners Anderlecht... The Cup runs etc
WE're that famous club across the border. No one in Anderlecht, Magdeburg, Porto, Zaragoza, Zurich etc has ever heard of Shuwesburi They've heard of us though!

They know Wrexham’s European ‘adventures’ typically started as runners up to Shrewsbury in the Welsh Cup. No European qualification for an English side from that competition, but we needed to be invited so a big club was involved to boost the coffers. Hope the 3 weekly car washes are still serving you well - do they let you open your windows for a free scrub while the hoses are on?

The Vale game was at their place? It was also in a s**t competition. Let’s see how many you have vs St Mirren under 5’s in your big European Chocolate Biscuit cup. Get used to those crowds though, as that’s what you’ll be seeing in the National League North against Telford and co next season!!

Ricketts will be clearing out his second desk in less than 12-months at sometime.. I really do love Notorious and some of his claims, just on this post alone, I'll disect some of his points:
1) The 'pitiful crowd' against Vale was in fact at Vale in the 'EFL Trophy', a competition which has always had small crowds but has dwindled further due to the introduction of B Teams. One day you may get to enter this again and find out
2) We didn't sack Coyne, he was a caretaker manager 3) We didnt replace Coyne with Askey, Askey's sacking led to Coyne being appointed caretaker manager 4) We did have a total 'flop' of last season which is why Askey was sacked, no one is disagreeing
5) We aren't lighting up League 1, this is true, a solid if unspectular start. However after last season being mid table in the third tier would be deemed aceptable by most of our fanbase. But a Wxm fan trying to question a club for being mid table in the third division seems a bit ironic.
6) You've been telling us for 6 months that Ricketts will be gone by October, now you are revising that slightly. Hope you didnt bet too much on that.
7) Finally, on the crowd debate, I suspect most of the digs you get about this are based on you telling us how big Wrexham are and how you have such a wonderful & passionate fanbase. 3,800 wonderful & passionate fans at the last count.

most of which looked like schoolkids in the stand behind the goal. Must be letting them in on a free to swell the numbers. Incidentally, where would they put away fans if we came up against them in the fa cup ? Looked like home fans only in the Eric Roberts stand
