I despair at football fans sometimes. Giving up the chance to have a say in how your Club is run for the promise of a short term shot at third division football.
And a 'fly on the wall' document no doubt.

Tonight I'm tempted to go outside and bang some pots n pans. Let off the NYE rockets etc stored in the far outhouse in the paddock.
We've all had a celebratory drink tonight in Wrexham. A good drink!! Get innnnn the canadian and American!
They're here for the long term. Big researhed plans etc
Nothing's going to change till the tranfer window opens etc. Rome wasn't built in a day?
But, we going places. One or two seasons....POW!
It's struck me tonight, that we might never play Chester again. More likely to play Tranmere. Shrowsbury.
We will soon be on everyone's 'must beat' list and the team everyone envys etc.
We will be favourites to win almost every game we play.
It will be strange but we need to get used to it

2 seasons till we get our act together... And then, the sky's the limit. It won't be long till Wembley arch is lit up for us again.... We've won there. We know what it's like. Something you'd love........ And Cardiff whilst Wembley was getting flipin' done up. I hope this Netflix series wants videos sent in. They can have the one with Ricketts telling the fans "I'm going nowhere! How right he was...

Alright lads! We're still 'wetting the American and Canadian' heads in Wrexham. Fair play (round of applause) to the Council workers this week with the recycle bins. It'll be looked back as a 'grueller'. Youd've been the first on here if we'd lost tonight. 'Deadpool to Hartlepool' etc etc This is going to take a few seasons. I haven't ruled out playing you in League next season. It's only a matter of time.... Wembley winners again.....soon

Someone whose holiday jaunts make the Benidorm programme look like reallity TV.
So, how long before they chuck Keates out for some big time charlie manager?

I always find it incredibly sad to see an ageing moll hanging on to a moneyman's coat tails hoping for a bit of gold dust to rub off on them.

AlriGHT LADS! We're still celebrating across the border.. There's been some mocking atricles, comments etc about the Wrexham FC takeover. Radio 5 Live Chris Sutton. He could cause an argument in a flipin' room by himswlf? Didn't his Dad play for Chester? SAY NO MORE! Newspaper atricles from each side of 'The Pond'. flipin' ambulnce chasers! In my opinion Wrexham FC have nothing to lose. flip' all! The club was stuck in a landslide heading to oblivion... Not even I ever closed my eyes and prayed for 2 Hollywood stars to takeover the mess.. A Euromillion quadruple rollover yes....but. A change of ownership was like winning the flipin' Lotto alone.. Nothing to lose

Might have to goto the Racecourse to watch a game or two...a Crusaders game mind... I'll make a bold prediction. Give it a two or three seasons... We'll be running coaches from Shropshire for all Wrexham's games. Home and away. Just ike the Good Old Days. Let's be fair? The Shropshire Reds have always run coaches from Shropshire. I've never heard of a coach from Wrexham going to watch Shrewsbury?

Struggling to see what's wrong with that? Nice touch as far as I can see What should be wrong is what seems to have happened, from the article: "After cuts to his care, the 37-year-old's parents sold their family home to buy a flat for him to live closer to them in Manchester."
The sick and the genuine poor get the kicking in our current society.

I've never heard of a coach from Wrexham going to watch Shrewsbury? 2 Reasons; Firstly you cannot blame people from Wrexham wanting to better themselves by crossing the boarder to live in Shropshire & secondly, if god forbid any Shropshire folk hit rock bottom and are forced to move away they have no end of places to choose from before ending up in Wrexham. Like Genoble, Baghdad, Damascus, Walsall & Burslem to name just a few.

What a couple of weeks for us? The Shropshire Reds are having a laugh at their Shrewsburry neighbours tonight. Chirk. Ellesmere. Markey Drayton etc
Two (2) flipin' wins in a week? A rarity. Hollywood stars etc...
We're on the up. We've sold more tops this week than M&S..
How's your fortnight been?

What a month? And you chaps are second from bottom back end of November. Big doubts about the rookie manger you got? Big flipin' jump from the National to League One? Especially when you've done flip' all in the national? I don't think you can afford to change it around? I bet my left eye you all regret sacking that successful manager. He'd won 5 out of the last flipin' games and you showed him his P45.. I wouldn't bet against us playing each other next season in L2 What a month for us!

Appreciate this will probably sound bitter, but the whole "rich man's plaything" would be a hollow victory for me. Wrexham languished in non league for over a decade under their own steam and were going nowhere till two Yanks with no connection to the club or the sport pumped a bit of cash in for the purpose of using the club for some kind of Netflix vehicle that will probably paint the locals as toothless simpletons with nothing in their lives to live for beyond the faint hope of Wrexham fc maybe achieving something, forever grateful to their hollywood saviours for enriching their pitiful existence.
It'd be one thing if it was a "local boy done good" and the whole thing had some longevity but I can't see these guys sinking their entire fortune into turnimg Wrexham into a top club (because that's what it would take). Face it; Wrexham's a cheap way for them to get into the Netflix football docuseries thing with an unusual angle and that's it. Couple if seasins of soap opera and that'll be it.
But sure, enjoy the hope while it lasts.
