And Ian Woan. Is the Mike Jackson, under 23 coach that is taking over as caretaker the same one as was here at Town with us? If it is then god help them if he is as succesful. Yep the self same Mike Jackson!, Had a crack at managing Tranmere after Mellon went to Dundee United and was an absolute disaster Very strange time to have a clear out of your management team when you are fighting relegation. And if you ho down Dyce has done a good job getting them back up.

Very strange timing 🤔 and very harsh, in my opinion.

Just have a feeling of Stoke about this. Getting shot of a manager who might not have set the world on fire but still knew how to get the best out of a club and its team...and then falling on harder times as a result. I guess only time will tell.

Everton must be rubbing their hands at this. Mike Jackson in charge at Burnley.

A strange decision, both in terms of the principle, and the timing of its execution, methinks.

Incredible timing and what a way to treat such a loyal servant who it is rumoured has turned down other offers in the Premier league to stay at Burnley - there will not be too much sympathy for them if they go down now.

Some of us wouldn’t have had any sympathy anyway.

If they do go down Dyce would be a very good choice to try and bring them back up, think he has done it twice before.

I love how in this world of social media, speculation and news leaks that still occasionally you get the odd bit of news that comes as a complete surprise.

I bet Everton are s**tting themselves. A rare game where you’ll be cheering on the red half of the city this weekend?

No for me, would rather City win the league and Everton stay up then Liverpool win the league and Everton going down. It’ll be an easy win for the red half though unfortunately just like Tuesday.

Thought this would be from the 80s or 90s, what an absolute . Sling him behind bars.

Thought this would be from the 80s or 90s, what an absolute . Sling him behind bars. Truly shocking behaviour and almost impossible to believe it could happen in today's society. How does someone like this get to be a manager or any job with young people. Someone must have known before he was appointed and someone must have known what's been going on since. There must be many witnesses and you would have thought it would have been reported immediately and stopped immediately. It's an allegation at the moment and I hope a criminal investigation gets to the whole truth.
