for me it is the issue of outside the ground , the villa game you are walking to sainsburrys/ meole brace and villa fans were everywhere but no police. i did not see any problems and i was chatting to a villa fan on the way to my lift but with other fans i could see a problem.

I request that we close block 19, rip the seats out and turn it into a pretty water feature with the water cascading down the steps and being pumped back up to the top again, it will make a change from the current shower we have installed in there ;-) Yeah let's get rid of the only part of the ground that creates an atmosphere and all sit in silence.

Scaremongering at its finest. No blocks would be closed. If been to countless games where the stairwells have been full of people. Walsall on the last day of last season for example. You clearly are clueless. I am 100% sure I know more about safety regulations in stadiums, than you do, having worked in that industry for many years. Failure to keep stairwells clear is an offfence punishable by closure of blocks or even stands, if safety officers observe it OK, can you give me an example of a time this has happened at the Meadow? People regularly stand in the stairwells so surely we've been punished by now.

All the coppers were busy at the Brooklands splitting a lads face open on the floor because he was "resisting arrest" I didn't see what he was nicked for but they didn't give him half a second to comply before slamming on the floor. Yes the police are terrible for that... but you say you did not see what he was nicked for.. but claim he was not given half a second to comply... so one of these statements is not right... me i trust the police to be honest

Christ, for a minute I thought wxm had a crowd of 10,000,but alas it was only roughly about the same as there game against Eastleigh last season in there biggest game of the season, which they lost as usual in the bananarama play offs!!! 😂😂😂 Big ol club! With supporters with a marked inferiority complex.

How so? I read it as not given a second to comply with a police request, we don't know why he was being asked to comply.

Because it wasn't all within half a second. There are three events in that post - the original offence for which the lad was arrested, the police request for him to do whatever and the lad being put on the floor. For all you know, the first event could have been half an hour earlier and certainly before pughy was witnessing any of this.

Because he fits the description of someone they suspect has committed something and ask him to stop?

After so many years at the new stadium, you would think the club / Police would have worked out some basic crowd control by now. Today on the way out, Pompey fans were allowed to confront Town fans on ‘Super Blues Way’ spitting and shouting, to which our morons responded by throwing stones. The previous game I attended, Walsall fans were allowed to run down Super Blues way ‘fronting up’ town fans leaving the game, calling myself and two 12 year olds I was with “sheep shagging C U next tuesday’s” Both times there was not a steward or Policeman in sight. I’ve been going to games for 20+ years so there is little that would put me off going, but if today was my first game and I was caught up in that I probably wouldn’t go again. I’m getting sick of having to run the gauntlet leaving a game tbh I'd stick to Ludlow on a Thursday afternoon 😉

Warnings will always be given before action is taken.

The section of Super Blues Way as it goes past Smithy’s Bar has on occasions been a flashpoint of trouble (where both sets of fans can stare at each other through a fence) ever since we moved to Oteley Road, along with the Wild Pig car park, always seems to be those places where any bother seems to happen.

Still incredible the away end wasn't put the opposite end. Was there a reason?

Copper who was holding his arm said put your arm arms behind your back. Before he finished his sentence the bloke was on his way to the floor. He didn't resist imo. He didn't resist when he had 6 coppers on top of him. Just shouted out to his mate to record it. Well over the top imo.

It's disappointing but not unexpected
'Ground Hog Day'.
Throwing a 0-2 lead away with 8 mins to run down?
2-points lost! Those could be crucial points knowing our league.
I've seen a video on FB of the players celebrating the second goal at Boreham Wood like they were Liverpool during the Barca miracle game...
Lot's of poncing around. Running to the away fans and nearly joining them over the advertising hoardings. Weird unknown dance move celebrations. Back slapping. High fives, etc etc
Where were the roly poly's at Boreham Wood? Or grabbing the corner flag and using it as a mic?
As well as the two official club coaches I watched leaving outside The Turf approx 2pm today. The away support was 391 out of a crowd of 845. Unbelievable support on a Tuesday night when some Freeview Channels are still covering Love Island.
It's the same every season. Déjà vu.... Every flipin' season....and we're into the twelfth season of this. Can Games Of Thrones do 12 seasons?.
We're flipin' cursed. Cursed I tell you!
They're going to torture us again, fill us with hope etc right till the end of the season
and fluff it..
We're expecting it
I'm going to see if Corbetts Bookmakers will give me generous odds of....
(Drumroll and fanfair)
Graham Barrow. To be announced caretaker manager of STFC iby October.. and Bryan Huges to depart Wrexham in October

IF...
IF Shrewsbury had the same desire as our fans.... you'd be in the Championship.
We're like the Cardiff City of the late 80's-90's. Massive support. Big away support and big drinkers. Often leaving away fixture venues 'dry' and.... in pieces. Our support is incredible
The only problem is the product on the pitch...
