How can the Brexit Party prop up any government when they haven’t so much as a manifesto never mind any MP’s you ****ing moron ? At some point you'll come to terms with the fact that Labour has all but lost it's vote in the north, they simply abandoned the white working class. I have many friends in the north who just wouldn't vote Conservative, therefore they need representation and a Brexit party vote could potentially be quite popular. Re: "white working class" - Isn't a government for all citizens? This British obsession with 'class' is so out of date. I would have been categorised as 'white working class' when I was younger, but I suppose I am white middle class now having been to Uni and had a career as a college lecturer. I would have been more wealthy to have been an electrician or a plumber though. I am suspicious of the Brexit Party. Don't they ultimately represent 'big business'? I have read somewhere that Mr Farage prefers wine to beer...

You could add Raab, Gove, Hunt, IDS and McVile, just for starters.😖 Raab, McVey or even Patel as an outside shout would all be excellent choices for the next PM. this is the same Raab who was surprised that most of our imports and exports went through Dover, and the same Patel who backed May for the leadership job and who was sacked from government for having illegal unauthorised meetings with the Israeli government?

Even if you ignore their views on Brexit this is a pretty contemptible bunch of people.

Is there anyone in the Conservative Party not standing to be the new leader - sounds like we already have about 15 people putting their name forward From a purely betting point of view Rory Stewart at 20/1 seems good value - fairly new to front line Ministerial duties so doesn’t have too much baggage and is setting himself up as pro brexit but anti-Boris Johnson candidate which will appeal to a lot of the Conservative MPs I backed him last year at 100/1 after enjoying his Lawrence of Arabia documentary. I don't think the Conservative membership will select a remainer though.

Even my MP, Graham Brady is standing.
I wondered what people were laughing about in Altrincham this morning.

Than cash in for some profit

I've got a fiver on McVey at 66/1 in the hope that Johnson and Gove put each other out of the reckoning by constantly briefing against one another, and an outsider comes up on the rails!
It's already started, with both Johnson and Gove accused of being closet Remainers who can't be trusted.
And apparently dossiers are being prepared on Johnson and Raab's private lives to try to take them out of the race.

Which was this: "We want a bespoke arrangement in goods which recognises the pecul iar, frankly, geographic, economic entity that is the United Kingdom.
"We are, and I hadn't quite understood the full extent of this, but if you look at the UK and if you look at how we trade in goods, we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing."

Imagine if Diane Abbott had said this? You'd never hear the end of it. It would be the 'there's no money left' and 'Gordon sold all the gold' ****wittery all over again.

Single issue brexit party will obviously trounce this election.
Lib dems and greens will surge in the cities as they pick up votes from remain Labour.
Labour lose on both sides to remain parties and brexit party yet still maintain a chunk share.
All the attention will be on the above neglecting the fact that the actual government will be so utterly anhiliated and destroyed its pitiful.
Everyone from all sides will be claiming this to be a vindicator of their points. Brexiteers for no deal. Remainers for second ref etc etc.
And alas the cycle continues.
GE please.

Well looks like the picture about brexit is no clearer after the Euro elections - brexit party only gaining a few seats on the old UKIP, but that’s countered by loss for conservatives and gains by Liberal Dems
Remain and hard brexit now probably over - time for a compromise?

Remain and hard brexit now probably over - time for a compromise? That depends on Corbyn and whether he will change his position. By changing position, I mean to remain.

Leadsom (11), Harper (10) and McVile (9) fall at the first hurdle.
Johnson (114) receives the most votes in the first poll. Followed by Hunt (43), Gove (37), Raab (27), Javid (23), Hancock (20) and Stewart (19).

Her website (which I don't wish to visit) is said to be full of pictures of her. All image (and an unpleasant one at that) and no substance. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
