They always say, if you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. I have prepared the following statement printed in full below.

It's Port Vale for her.
Which ever he or she gets the job it's going to be hard to assemble a cabinet with some of them being useless and some of them probably not prepared to serve under them and some of them gone to Change.

A glorious and illustrious 3 year reign with a resounding legacy left behind. Salopross can fill us in on the detail.

I mean I'm sure we all agree that she should resign (that she should have done it before now...and she will still be a around for a couple of weeks yet) but does anyone have any confidence that anyone else can come in and sort out this mess? I'm amazed anyone would wish to take the job on...

Does this mean a summer General Election fought on brexit? Honestly can't keep track anymore we are way through the looking glass.

A summer election would be the sensible way, but the Tories would be too frightened they might lose. Time to put country before party and clear the air, rather than continue the slow demise.

Boris the Bafoon ? im afraid she’ll be around a bit longer than a couple of weeks.... likely to be asked to remain as interim PM whilst the Tory’s decide who’s next....

So if the DUP have been propping up this fragile government, what happens if the DUP don't like the new Prime Minister? An election? The future may not be totally in the Tory parties hands.

Still, more probable than the Green Party, Change or the Lib Dems doing anything anytime soon.

Conservatives do need to be careful over the coming months of maintaining a working majority in the commons. If they can’t the opportunity for a vote of no confidence emerges and leader of next biggest party gets to meet the Queen and is asked to see if they can form a working majority

Election certainly seems likely - I don’t see anyone other than a hard Brexiteer winning the election which several Tory MPs have said they would leave the party over - potentially triggering a successful vote of no confidence even if the government doesn’t want an election. I think that would certainly happen if a no deal is advocated by the leadership.
Other scenario I think is likely is Boris embracing an amended version of the WAB, with the political declaration tweaked. It would be far more palatable coming from a “true” brexiteer.

i can't cope with life after hearing this sad terrible news for the nation. A very sad day is the end of May,God bless you now **** off! Classic over promotion when Cameron made her Home Sec. Classic being in the right (or wrong) place to get PM. Her legacy? Sterling work on the continuing demise of the Tory party. Her deal? The old 3 strikes and you are out rule still applies. Learning point? Don't go off negotiating saying Brexit means Brexit without having any idea if what you will spend all that time and effort on will be acceptable. Have a goal.

She had a goal but took her eye off it. She should have stood up to, and then stamped out the ERG nutters rather than giving into them whilst trying to keep her vile party together. Anyway, well done Treeza, it is now broken beyond repair.
