Article on the STFC website www.shrewsburytown.com/news/2019/may/first-year-scholars-set-to-join-academy/One question needs to be asked though...who proof reads this stuff? Do we really need to know about Ryan Barnett’s bodily fluids? Excreta? Surely they mean et cetera?....either stop using spell-check or invest in a dictionary! Now, if the article had been about Rexham it would have been fine - we all know that most of their fans are full of s**t....

"James Rowland's or future Ryan Barnett's" is another gem. Apostrophes used instead of plurals.
The only way that 2nd apostrophe could be correct is if they are indeed referring to Barnett's bodily fluids.
The sentence should have read - 'Hopefully, down the line you will see a future James Rowland or Ryan Barnett, who may well come from this group'.
If the Media Department want a proof reader, I'm available!

Just read it. Honestly you couldn’t make it up could you?!!
Still I’ve now reached the stage of Am I bovvered?! Quite honestly the club obviously aren’t so why should I be. If they want to look cheap and cheerful on a public forum that is supposed to be representative of our club then so be it.

Incredible - “Hopefully down the line you will see future James Rowland’s or future Ryan Barnett’s excreta, who will come from this group.” - who the hell would not spot that as being a little bit wrong

Someone who doesn’t know their English, someone who doesn’t give a toss, someone who can’t be bothered to check what they write, someone who can’t read, someone who’s in the wrong job or someone who thinks it’s 1st April?
Take your pick.
