Good on him, he and Port Vale seem to be a good fit given his family links to that club.

Very pleased for JA. He went to Vale on a very short term contract til the end of the season to prove himself. He now has three years to rebuild the club with new owners who obviously care for the club. Good luck to him. What the heck, he is a crap manager. We all know it, there are enough experts on B&A that have told us so...........

So that's both our recent ex-Managers nicely sorted out with new contracts elsewhere. Mellon doing pretty well at Tranmere too. No one has ended up on the scr@pheap. Not on the scr@p heap, just a bit lower down the league. Closer to home and a better fit for both. Nice to see things work out for them.

Tranmere May creep up but with MM’s history in L1, I fancy them to struggle.
