Tretts has already signed on for Hereford and Steele has gone to Orient so that's too gone off your list!
I'm sure Jimmy has a few irons in the fire and knows where he wants to strengthen the team...

5) Mc Nivan as well
Would have said Darren Currie as hes left Wycombe but hes looking for a forst div club, Karl Murrey i would still have back or even Jags for that matter. Evans would he come back or Walton???
No contract for Lowe though still for me - did nothing yesterday really again and failed to cross the ball once

1) Big strong central defender 2) A "target man" who is actually a target man, someone whoc an win headers 3) Right midfield, someone who can cross, but not just a winger, someone with a bit of bite too who can battle in midfield 4) Ball winning midfielder (how much longer can O'Connor last) 5) A new keeper, Howie is cack and will definitely "cost us in a big game" quote ProfessorPatPending in October sometime I think  |

Totally outside suggestion, and biased as I taught him, Follett from Tamworth. He's full-time college at the mo, was on Forest's books as a youngster, and trainee, until a back injury put all on hold for a while. British Uni player currently too, and would cost nothing. Can play midfield or full back, and has skill with a bit of bite. Well regarded on the Tamworth board. Managed to rile O'Conner and Rioch too! The two obvious people seem Ricketts and Whitehead given their locality. Dion Dublin is out of a job too!  |

David Beckham he appears to be available this summer he has bite, ca cross can battle has a good worth ethos and is a decent player |

you are spot on we were having the post mortem yesterday and came up with the same thoughts as you, if money is tight we will hold onto Scott as he is a folk hero for now, and I am sure Quinny will be bringing Joe Hart on!
definitely need a big target man( not the devon White or John Gayle mode)
It will be interesting to see who JQ has got in mind.
The jury is out on Lowey though!
