Did anyone on here park on the Grass around the Michelin factory over the bridge from the ground ? There were a load of cars all parked up on there, and I noticed on my walk back into Stoke that every single one of them had been issued with a fixed penalty ticket. Easy money for Stoke City council or what. !!!!

Aye. A post further down the board from 'DomStoke' suggests some policemen were telling people they could park on the grass - surely they knew the cars would get tickets?
Oh well...

It has to be the worst ground/city for parking. Every single street i went round had double yellows. Totally agree, all cars were well out the way on the grass, and there was no need at all to issue every single car with a ticket, but I reckon they must have been on commission and just saw ££££ in their eyes.

On arrival at 11 we found a decent place to park and there seemed to plenty of other spaces too.
Everyone was warned not to park on the side - but if conflicting info. was given, that's a shame.
Ho hum.
