As an overall day out , yesterday will be very hard for me to beat.
From gathering in the pub at 9:30, everyone buzzing , to the journey on the coach with seemingly every vehicle decked out in blue and amber, the first sight of the stadium and then getting inside and seeing the concourse rammed with Town fans, absolute lifetime memories. The game itself i can honestly say i did not enjoy one little bit, i was too tense, Aldershot were better than us for long periods, i couldn't sing , i never want to experience that again. I loved being in the same stand and seeing so many faces that i've met through B&A, seeing what it meant to people who live and breath this club. Coming back to Town and seeing everyone celebrating in the streets was again something that will be stored away into the memory banks. I love the thought of normality being resumed and the Town once again being the only senior team in this county. Absolute top day. Thanks everyone.
