If we can stay up with Yado Mambo as first choice centre half this should be a cakewalk.

Good luck Toto and expect the fans to be doing this when you score your first goal for us

I would imagine PH sees him complementing Juan of the Centre Halves already here. Sometimes players just click together. Several of us have said we don't have enough height at the back. Nsiala and El Abd perhaps? If you were a forward, I'm not sure you'd fancy 90 minutes with that pair waiting for you.

With the name Toto and coming from DR Congo can we expect the classic Africa to replace Andy Williams in the pre match music?

I always hope we might play a bit of Cliff Richard. It would help take away the pain.
No matter how s**te we play, or how many goals we get stuck up us, nothing, but nothing can be worse than listening to the fetch spewed out by this bell- end of musical mundanity.

At least that's a point rather than the garbage you typed before, very odd thing for you to say that we should give up tackling because one person expresses a reservation about a new player. If you look at the stats, this chap has regularly got yellow cards, in over 50% at some points but mainly around that number in pretty much every season he's played. Consistently, not occasionally. He has more than El-Abd and I thought we would be trying to get away from players with disciplinary issues. If you think he's going to change that then saying so is more constructive I think Just love keyboard warriors happy New year Conceited.

Whilst he has produced a fair amount of bilge, "wired for sound" and " devil woman" are decent tunes.

Grimsby fan here (in peace). Toto left us last June, and was outstanding during the two years he was with us. He's big, very quick, good in the air and reads the game brilliantly for a young lad (signed for us at 22). He has all the attributes to go a long way in the game and I suspect he probably will. If I'm to make a slight criticism, like all defenders, he does sometimes make the odd silly mistake but that's something that can be eradicated from his game. Some GTFC fans (who never really warmed to his character) will argue that he has temperament issues but I disagree. His disciplinary record wasn't too bad at all and he always performed well in our more important games. Hartlepool was a strange move for him to make career wise so I'm not surprised that it hasn't really worked out for him there, but I'd say he's under the right manager now and you've got a really good player on your hands. Not sure if he's spoken to your press about him yet but PH rates Nsiala very highly and he'll be very pleased to have got his man. We played Hartlepool back in October and interestingly PH stuck his neck out and quite rightly criticised some of our fans for the reception he received when he came back. You can listen to Hurst's comments on Toto after that game in the link below (5:50 onwards). www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p049nr3p

lets calm down please
its bad enough on here that we get the odd new member sign up just to start dishing out abuse for fun
there is no need for established members falling out with each other
if you don't agree with someones opinion, lets be a little more constructive with the replies
happy new year ;-)

I understand that Barcelona can make Messi available, but that he is unwilling to come as he cannot be guaranteed first team football.
