Who let them take a drum in?
Club should be fined ... or Stoke?
Rules are rules!
Cheer up Graham Turner

Yeh rules are rules, someone try telling Andy thingy that on the Premiership, after the Villa/Man United match.
Their drum did help to get all their fans singing though. And what was that tune they kept singing?? I'm sure I recognised it, and it sounded like something out of a film.

"stand up if you love Aldershot"
"we love you Aldershot, we do"
"Aldershot, Aldershot, Aldershot"
"Keep the red flag fyling high"
"Can you hear the Shrewsbury sing"
Thats all i heard. And the annoying "da naaa na na, naa naa na" song that they were hitting the drum to.

I say fair play to them, totally out sung us, very disapointing atmosphere for 12,000 fans IMO!

I was block 27, and during normal time all we had was a few 'stand up if you love Shrewsbury' and 'Come on you blues'. HOWEVER I could see/hear people in the durection of 31 singing their hearts out! and from the start of ET onwards, everyone wa ssuperb.

Firstly, well done Shrews... it was a cracking game... i think both teams had the chances to win it and you cant pick out who was the better side overall. But well done and good luck for next year.
Secondly... We sing lots of songs... and most of them are started by the crowd with the drum joining in with the clapping.
"stand up if you love Aldershot"
"we love you Aldershot, we do"
"Aldershot, Aldershot, Aldershot"
"Keep the red flag fyling high"
"Can you hear the Shrewsbury sing"
"The great escape"
"England" :-P
"if i had the wings of a sparrow"
"apache" - by the shadows.

Sorry, one other thing.
After a campaign by the shots faithful... Stoke agreed to let us have our drums.

Aldershot always make a row even when the drums can't get to the game. The drums do help though as a number of our songs, need the drum especially Apache. We had a good old sing song today and tried to match your numerical advantage (which from where I stood I think we did). Well done Shrews and thanks for clapping our coaches out of the ground.
