Played in the humid warmth at Idsall School, B&A went into an early 4-0 lead after barely 15 mins. Due largely too some flat-footed defending by the Buckschatters. Something of a Mullahing looked on the cards till the Bucksfolk got going, finding success down the wide right and netting 2 goals before the interval (much raised eyebrows at the Lino, but with only recent Conference matches to go by, I was just doing my best!!).
Second half started well for the Bucks who dominated the first 20 minutes and soon pegged the score back to 4-4. B&A looked like going behind till some inspired work down the left flank by Giles who managed to lob the keeper (aided by a small deflection) put the B&A lads back in front - and seemed to knock the stuffing out of the Bucks lads. 2 more goals followed, capped by a quality header from ICNO (his 4th goal of the game), to give B&A an unassailable lead, despite a late consolation goal from The Buckschat. 7-5 to B&A.
No doubt photos and recriminations to follow!

B&A Scorers- Iain x4, Niall (DiggerDaves son), Stu Dunn and Giles Chuffed for Iain and Giles to score after their layoffs, and Niall was fliping quality up front, scored an awesome goal And a big thanks and well done to the two TMS lads Mark and Skally, cracking games for both Cheers to the Telford lot for a great game, like Lee said you were unlucky late on and I'm glad the game was settled by good finishing rather than some controversial incident. Defo gunna have to have a re-match sometime

Cheers TUFC for playing the game in very good spirits, they fought very hard to haul themselves back into the match and looked like taking the lead at one point. Cheers to Old Git for running the line for us, I didn't realise it was you! I hope to do a match report over the next few days, but we had some outstanding performances from players like Afro, Niall, Digger Dave, Dunny and a special mention to Ian 'DRAS DRAS DRAS' Cormack who his 4 goals very well indeedy. For me it was nice to get back on the pitch and get a goal to cap a very good day off

It was a really enjoyable game I must say, every single player was excellent, there were no shirked challenges yet it was a clean and fairly contested goals, and there were some stunning goals, Nialls was the pick of the bunch for me but then there was Giles cross-cum-shot and Iains superb header, and Mannsys chip for the Bucks side was quality. A re-match is a must
