I've no idea why the club have made it this complicated whilst penalising fans who have an account and planned to go to the away games regardless. All they simply needed to do is suspend new accounts as soon as the draw was made and let that be that. Anyone with a previous purchase history could then carry on accruing points to bump themselves up the queue if they so wished. Even if someone had made an account purely for the Chelsea game at least it meant they attended one game. Based on the fact that some tickets were available on general sale for that game I don't see the problem as anyone with an account and some points would surely get a ticket - someone bumping themselves up the queue wouldn't bother me.
Also I think the club is overestimating the amount of United fans who will try and 'invade' the home end. Didn't Wednesday say this and from what I've heard they didn't. Lets be honest most United fans in Shropshire are plastic and can't even be bothered to get up to Old Trafford even though League Cup and FA Cup games often go on general sale. Going to the effort of registering an account with an opposition team then buying tickets for games they won't even attend seems a little far fetched to me and would be done by a minority only. Let's remember this isn't a big game for United and will likely be on the TV.
I honestly can't believe the way the club treats its regular customers when without them it would be nothing.

Sometimes what the club to is absolutely ridiculous . When will they learn .

I can't understand why we have removed the incentive from cup games. Especially when the loyalty points are most likely to be used for cup games the fact that going to Gainsborough and Grimsby gains no loyalty points when we draw a big club in the same competition is just mad. You really couldn't make it up

I`m finding this interesting as a `part-timer` / former dedicated fan.
I`ve always disliked the idea of buying tickets in advance as I have a busy life and a young family so flexibility and value for money are paramount. I`ve also never liked the `new` ground; inconvenient and soulless. I thought this would be the first time I`d regretted not buying tickets for the away games I`ve been to over the past few years via the Club / Ticketdisaster; Usually there are loads of tickets available on the day as we have one of the smaller away followings in this division. However, shambles reign and , whilst I`ll have to make to watching the `big` match from the pub, at least I won`t have the stress and hassle of thinking I would get a ticket because I deserved one. Loyalty points are great but they have to be allocated sagely and we`re looking amateur once again. this week.

The club need to remember that although we are all desperate to get tickets for the Manchester United game there won't be such a demand for Barnet, Accrington, Mansfield etc next season. Alienating and upsetting fans with their haphazard, ill thought out, inconsistent procedures will most definitely come back to haunt them. At the moment my season ticket is unlikely to be renewed , mainly due to the shambolic player recruitment and dismal home performances but also due to the lack of respect and common courtesy I receive in dealings with the club.

And there you have it in a nut shell! If RW wants to know how the supporters currently view Shrewsbury Town FC this post from czarcasm should leave him in absolutely no doubt. The take up of our early bird season ticket offer should prove to be a pointer to how p**sed off fans are.

credit where it is due - my Fleetwood and Blackpool points are now back in my account, and the club have very helpfully amalgamated the two accounts I had erroneously set up so my Millwall and Sheffield Utd away points also now show.
There's been plenty of criticism of the club this week, much of it well founded, but credit to the club here for seeing sense.

I can't understand why we have removed the incentive from cup games. Because they're bloody barmy. I can think of no other rational explanation.

Having lots of loyalty point only proves that people have enough disposable income to spend on football.
I know plenty of loyal fans who either can't afford to go full stop, or choose the odd game when finances allow.
They hurt just as much as those of who go when we lose.

We could have added a few more to the away support at the games in question. Both huge six-pointers so the additional vocal support would have been welcomed by the players. Happy to actively reward the floating fans who may turn up tonight but penalise the hardcore fans who will make the substantial trip to Fleetwood/Blackpool. We should be looking the exploit this opportunity from every angle. Not just financially. Hopefully you can get sorted like stowmarket shrew. Maybe remonstrate / demonstrate that that the trip have been booked for along time e.g. advance train tickets , hotels or anything else?

I can't understand why we have removed the incentive from cup games. You have +1 loyalty point, awarded for Shrewsbury Town V Manchester United (Season 2015/16) on 07/02/2016, 01:23 . Looks like a change of heart although my Grimsby and Sheff Weds aren't showing.

Due to Ticketmaster initially figuring that the Man U game was a League One fixture, I would guess that is why a loyalty point has been credited.

Yes we should be grateful the club are willing to listen to us but it would be nice if they thought things through properly in the first place so we could simply say "credit to the club for a well thought out policy which has been communicated properly". Wishful thinking I know

Yet another shambles from the club - why announce details would be up today if they had no intention of actually providing them?!
