Also it's worth adding that the exit poll last time round was bang on seat for seat.
I remember it ruining most of the fun that night.
Should come with a spoiler warning.

Well that's a wast of a night then. Every one in a council house will be having a massive party tonight , getting a house given them on the cheep. Any one looking for a house or in privet rent you have just been stuffed well and truly.

Seems a lot of confusion amongst the pollsters as most predicted a much closer result. Massive result though if that result is true
Would herald the end of Lib Dems; big move for independence for Scotland and every chance of a EU referendum within a year. Interesting times ahead.
Also means my election bets have come in!

Sunderland always comes in first and it's always Labour.
How many seats does a party need to get a clear majority?

I bet they don't even bother counting the votes anymore in Sunderland because it's such a foregone conclusion.
That's why they are so quick.

Ed Balls rumoured to lose his seat.
This could be the best result of the night.
Not to mention Sturgeon successfully locking Scotland out of Westminster. And there she was thinking she held the keys to Number 10. Her self-importance knows no bounds.

I could live with that exit poll result.

I think that the exit poll is going to be completely undone by UKIP taking a chunk of the right wing vote.

I think that the exit poll is going to be completely undone by UKIP taking a chunk of the right wing vote. Could be counteracted by SNP taking all the labour seats in Scotland leaving the possible awful scenario of a coalition with them and a n other.

It is still wide open as far as I can see.

UKIP polling seconds and thirds in areas people gave them little hope. Probably gonna get 2 seats, 3 at a push but polling over 4 million votes has to be a successful campaign for them. No doubt people will try and make out that a voting number roughly around the population of Wales deserves no representation at all and that they're all ignorant r*cist barstewards . Ed Balls coming on just now telling us that Miliband could still make it into office polling 230 odd seats and can command a legitimate government I've heard it all now. Labour prepared to affront democracy to get a whiff of power. Unbelievable.

Jew hating, hand licking and general all round scumbag George Galloway rumoured to have lost his seat to Labour. That's what you get when you try and stir racial divisions. Good riddance.

Lib Dems looking to be almost completely wiped out and with the Tories second in a number of seats they previously held I'd imagine this is where a number of the Tory gains are coming from. The irony being of course that their ten or so remaining seats will likely be just enough to see them back in government. Them and the creationism believing DUP.
Will be interesting to see where Labour lose though - wonder how many of the £1.3m people who stand to benefit from Cameron's RTB bribe have come out to vote?
Genuinely disappointed by this. I'd love to believe the exit polls are wrong but let's face it, they've come a long way since '92.
Can't personally complain I guess as I've done OK personally over the past 5 years but am really concerned for the future of the NHS in this country. Can't imagine that the disabled will be too pleased about the result either.

The only surprise for me is that people are surprised. The morally repugnant left have been starkly found out for the charlatans they truly are. The Conservative party who can deliver as both the party of the people and the party of driving the British economy have the unequivocal confidence of a nation.
God bless.

Cameron will be remembered as a great leader if he manages to keep the UK united on several levels.
I've no doubt that DC will ask for some help from the DUP if he doesn't quite get enough for a majority. Which will be nice.
Anyway over 70% turn out in Shrewsbury with over 50% voting against Danny boy. Something wrong there.

I want a council house while there still is some so I can buy it cheep and sell it for a massive profit thank you Mr Cameron. Ho forgot hope the housing associations don't need the money to build new houses to replace the ones sold as there are cuts being made you know so there's no spare money.
