Last game of the season tomorrow.
Barnet or Bristol Rovers for the title.
Martin Allen or the smug Rovers fan's after 2007 at Wembley?!
Personally not bothered.
Also would like to see Macc win playoffs.

All the Gas fans we met after were fine. Gillingham on the other hand had a fair few A*******s.

Barnet for me.
Bristol Rovers going down was a brief ray of sunshine in an otherwise awful season for football last year.
Not that it matters anyway, hopefully we won't need to care about 4th division football for some time.

Barnet at home to Gateshead.
Bristol Rovers at home to Alfreton.
Nothing less than a win will do for Rovers. They then have to hope that Barnet lose or draw..which seems unlikely.
Forest Green and Eastleigh both at home, whereas Macc are away at Torquay and have a vastly inferior goal difference to both of them.

Bristol Rovers must be sick that Kiddy got that last minute equaliser against them last week.
If that hadn't happened their destiny would have been in their own hands. Now it isn't.

Barnet promoted. Bristol Rovers in the playoffs.
If Boston United come up with Barrow from the Conference North and one of Eastleigh or Forest Green win the Conference playoffs then there will be no less than SIXTEEN of the 24 Conference Clubs being ex-League Clubs. The absolute minimum number is 14.
Once again, it shows how vital it was for us to get out of there as quickly as we did.

Imagine if next season Bristol Rovers, Grimsby and Tranmere are there, with Stockport the division below. Those are big clubs, easily league one.
It's totally bonkers now.
Eastleigh and Forest Green both bankrolled by sugar daddies.

Cheltenham, Tranmere, Bristol Rovers, Grimsby, Macclesfield, Kidderminster, Halifax, Wrexham, Chester, Gateshead, Torquay, Southport, Aldershot, Lincoln, Barrow, possibly Boston all in the mix.
And I'd expect Stockport (Conference North) to get back in the Conference soon.
Darlington are presently in the play offs of the Northern Premier League Division 1 North (8th tier). Scarborough are also in the Northern Premier League Division 1 North (8th tier) Rushden, having just won their League, will be in the Northern Premier League Division 1 (8th tier) next season. Workington are in the Northern Premier League and are in the play offs (7th tier). Bradford Park Avenue play in the Conference North (6th tier). Maidstone have just been promoted as Champions and will play next season in the Conference South (6th tier).
And of course 'Hereford FC'. League not yet known!

so if the 8 ex League teams (9 if you count Boston) who aren't in the Conference could make it to the 5th tier then it would be possible to have the whole League comprising ex Football League Clubs!

I just look at Wrexham and think the same as you , we could be bumping along in the Conference with no real hope of escape .What a nightmare . Now we are back into what I always consider our default position to be honest . We should be a third division team all day long with , hopefully a spell in the Championship . Who knows , perhaps before I pop me clogs we may even appear in the Premiers**te . I' m laughing as I write this but you never know . Town had better hurry up, at 65 time is running out for me . A very comfortable season in League 1 with perhaps a sniff at the playoffs would be most acceptable for now.

So, If Workington get through the play offs, there will be 4 ex League sides in the Conference North or South.
Workington, Stockport, Bradford Park Avenue and Maidstone. 5 if Boston don't go up.
So. If Boston go up this year with Barrow and then Stockport, Workington/Bradford PA and Maidstone go up next year whilst either Eastleigh or Forest Green Rovers go up via the playoffs this year and the other one next year, and the 4 relegated next year are Braintree, Welling and the 2 that have been promoted from the Conference South this year..then in 2016/2017 21 out of 24 in the Conference would be ex League sides.
Just Woking, Dover and Altrincham left to replace then! lol.

If (as seems likely) Bristol Rovers get to Wembley, I wonder how many supporters they'll take there.
It was rather a lot when we played them!
