Leutwiler 7 - pulled off a very good double save and did all that was asked of him.
Gayle 5 - didn't offer a lot going forward and seemed like a player that didn't contribute anything.
Ellis 6 - did everything that was asked of him defensively.
Goldson 7 - good performance and his last ditch tackle to save a probable goal was very good.
Grandison 8 - didn't get beat in the air once and put in some great tackles. He was also very composed on the ball.
Demetriou 7 - very fit player and was up and down the left wing a lot.
Woods 7 - kept possession well and managed to take a few players on.
Clark 6 - I didn't think he "ceased his opportunity" and looked quite lightweight in midfield. Showed glimpses of a quality player though.
Grant 7 - he came into the game second half and looked like he was going to make something happen. Also got 2 goals so well done.
Collins 5 - misplaced many passes and didn't look threatening. Worked hard but needed someone better up top with him.
Barnett 4 - offered nothing all game and played very poorly. Doesn't look like he is living up to his price tag.
Subs:
Akpa - Akpro 7 - made a difference straight away. He ran at defenders and looked a real threat going forward.

Agreed. Would give 6s for Gayle and Barnett though.

I haven't been to many games this season, but I listen to almost every game on Sloppy Radio and get loads of feedback on here and even though Gayle appears to be not that great at RWB he does allow us play 352, without him or someone else in that position we have to revert to 442 which doesn't seem to work. The more he plays there, the more comfortable he'll become and that is what we need coming to the business end of the season. It's not like we can bring anyone else in this season, maybe in the close season we can get a natural RWB and keep Gayle as a back up, or maybe he'll improve enough to make he position his own. Getting on his back because he's not as good a wingback at Mickey D isn't going help anyone, perhaps a bit more encouragement would help instead.
