Regarding the trialist. The 'Well travelled' midfielder. I wonder who it is, it seems he's been professional at a few clubs.

May be wide of the mark here, but the photos on FB from today's game....No 6? No clear footage of his face, but he appears to be being congratulated after scoring? Any ideas? Looks too young to be a 'well travelled' midfielder. Maybe MM is looking at options after the recent injury concerns with Weso and Lawrence?

Well done to the Town Reserves on their 2-1 win over Walsall Reserves.

On Twitter it was suggested it was Darren McKnight who has played in the reserves before as a trialist - I'm sure Bizzy said he had seen him play in a previous reserve game He could be out of contract judging by this article - www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/darren-mcknight-extends-reds-stay-1715131.aspx (signed a six month deal in the summer) and may be well known to MM from Barnsley days - maybe a future signing in the summer?

We could sign him now if he's out of contract.

Hardly 'well travelled' at 18 so although you may have something for the future doesn't sound like 'A.Trialist'

I think people are getting misled here - I presume the description of "much travelled" applies to the players name - not the actual person - as "A. Trialist" is often the name on the team sheet of many other clubs who wish to hide the identity of a player on trial so has not to alert his identity to other clubs.

Yes, thats what I assumed was meant by the comment to. Anyone notice the development squad play in shirts with the 'new' greenhous logo on.
