A little bird just told me that you can buy beer inside the Brittania? Is that true? Puts a whole new light on things if so

yup, 375ml bottles of Kronenburg at 2 quidish...sometimes they do a 2 for £3.50 offer. Also pints of John Smiths. Or Whisky miniatures at a bargain basement 4 quid if it all goes pear shaped.

One of the few times I'd be willing to pay that

Don't know when they stop, but they start at 11, even though it's Sunday. Worth getting there early if only for this reason!!

they stop serving 15 minutes before kick off, open up again after 30 minutes of the match. If you want a drink at half time, particulalry in the Boothen End, then you will have to go down early cos it's suprisingly chaotic for a new ground.
