Now that Parrish, Jagielka and Currie are without clubs, for the moment at least, how many players are out there playing in the league whom we have let go for no fee? Over the last decade we must have let go 100+ players? There's Brough, to get us started. Did Steeley go for free? Who else?

whatever happened to the lad we sold to Fulham - goalkeeper, name completely escapes me!

I think we tried to sign Steele up again, offering him, at the time, the most lucrative contract the club had ever offered a player, but he declined.

Probably for the best. Although I believe at a similar time Devon was on a highly lucrative package which, on reflection, we could have done without paying.
