That bloke who bought them is a nutter.
Could be in league one again, along with Blackpool.
Amazing what a bit of instability behind the scenes does.

How many managers have they had over the last few seasons now? Defoe L1 bound next season if they don't turn things around! The thought of those so-called Leeds fans and all their troubled past coming to deepest Shropshire next season will mean plenty of overtime for the boys in blue!

That bloke who bought them is a nutter. And long, long, may he own them. Love it.

36 managers in 22 years at his last club. We've only had 35 in 128 and I think that includes Chic Bates 3 times and Turner twice. The guy is mental, does he not understand that no matter how great a seamstress you will never make a silk purse out of a sows' ear. Needs to leave Redfurn in charge as caretaker for as long as possible and hope for the best

Crazy situation but they have been a crazy club in the last 10-15 years. Some of the things that have gone on there would be too outlandish for most scriptwriters of our abysmal soaps on tv. With this loon in charge you can't see things improving any time soon.

Who would have guessed it! Comical, thank goodness we have a club run on proper lines, whatever you think of Leeds Utd as a club, I feel sorry for their loyal supporters who turn up week in week out to follow their team.

Thats the thing, most Leeds supporters back him and why wouldn't they?. After years and years of Ken Bates ripping the soul out of the club, and before him even more chancers including the despicable Ridsdale, this guy has at least put his money where his mouth is. He's bought back the training ground, from one of Bates shadowy Cayman Island companies, and is in the process of buying Elland Road back from the same source. OK his record in hiring and firing managers is appaling by UK standards but at least he has had the sense to make a change as soon as it became apparent that it wasn't working . He's already stated that he is giving the job to Redfern, who wants it, and that he made a mistake by not appointing him 6 weeks ago

Former Leeds United midfielder Johnny Giles has urged owner Massimo Cellino to "get out of the club". Head coach Darko Milanic left the Championship side on Saturday after only 32 days in charge. He was the third managerial departure since Cellino became owner in April. I think the best thing he could do is get out of the club and make way for a new owner who could work in the best interests of the fans," Giles told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek programme. Milanic, 46, was appointed on 23 September but failed to win any of his six games in charge. His departure came after Saturday's 2-1 defeat at home to Wolves, which left Leeds 18th in the Championship, five points above the relegation zone. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29776590

This made me chuckle, reported in the Guardian today...
Darko Milanic may have left Leeds after just 32 days in charge but says he will be paid by the Championship club through to 2016 and as such is available to the club should they want him back.

Leeds academy manager Neil Redfearn is understood to have verbally agreed a long-term deal with owner Massimo Cellino to become the club's new head coach, reports BBC Radio Leeds. But the former Barnsley captain has yet to sign a contract. Redfearn will replace Darko Milanic, who was sacked on Saturday. The 49-year-old was caretaker manager earlier this season, claiming 10 points from a possible 12 following Dave Hockaday's dismissal. Redfearn has also taken temporary charge of the club on three previous occasions and had full-time managerial experience with Scarborough and Northwich Victoria. He will become Leeds' fourth permanent boss in just five months after Milanic's 32-day, six-game winless sequence was ended following a 2-1 home defeat by Wolves on Saturday. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29796549
