Aldershots website says they have only sold 5000. It asks everyone to try and buy their tickets by 3pm Sunday otherwise STFC will get the extra 5000 allocation.
Can't see it but can you imagine us selling 18000 tickets? The atmosphere is going to be amazing as it is but outnumbering Aldershot plus their 'anti town fans' by 3:1 should help the team big time.
What a long week this is going to be!

I can't see the point in Shots fans rushing to buy tickets to get themselves an allocation of 5k they won't sell.
Then again, could we sell it? Unlikely, I think we've almost peaked.

I wouldn't have thought there will be much need for anything other than another 1,000 tickets. 14,000 should be plenty.

i reckon if we had the lot then we would probably sell 14,000. we SHOULD split the remaining tickets so we get an extra 2 1/2 and they get the rest. this would be fairer on them as i believe they got their tickets later than us. if shots were to keep selling upto saturday then they would get alot more. but, from a biased town point of view, lets take the 5,000 and stop them getting more fans into the ground

is the 13,000 the entire two sides of the ground ?
The ground looks bigger than this ?

I think the 12,000 tickets (or just over) is the capacity of both the Boothen and Sentinel Stands. Aldershot are in the South Stand and the John Smiths Stand (but not all the John Smiths Stand).
Extra tickets will be for the John Smiths Stand...the main stand at Stoke City...
I don't think we'll need them will we? Would be interesting to know how ticket sales are going at the Meadow?

Brittania holds 28,500, so on present sales it looks like it'll be two thirds full. From a financial point of view, how much money goes to Shrewsbury and Aldershot and how much goes into the pockets of the Conference?

We have two spares for behind "our" goal if anyone's interested.
