I have a friend who is a Doncaster fan and he emailed me with his views of Stoke last year: 1) Donny sold 10K of their 12K allocation but that was triple D&R sales. 2) Ground opened 1 hour before the game 3) Queues for food and drink under the stand were a nightmare. 4) Car parking at the ground was adequate for that size of crowd. 5) Their victory was memorable but dont do it like them in extra time having been 2-0 up

did they really sell 10K?
i thought the attendance was only 13042?

its says on shrewsweb that the turnstyles open at 11am - lets hope thats true!!

The ground (and bars!!) open at 11.00.

I think its clear they learnt some lessons from last year about opening early - and with some many coming from quite close they could make a mint from catering in the ground

Looks like they have learnt a lesson with the ground opening and yes Jeevsy I think D&R only sold about 3000- it will be a bigger attendance this year
