One yellow card and another ignored.Even Fergie had to bring him off so he could play in the Cup Final he should of missed because of his attitude. So what has happened to that world class player that used to be so impressive for England?,A mere shadow of a great player.

Reason why he didnt walk was that his booking was for a dive and not a foul. personally i would have sent him off

Was it really a surprise they were playing at home?

Say what you want about Scholes but he's Englands only world class footballer. He would walk into any world eleven, every pro both team mate and opponent rates him as the greatest talent of his generation.

No not yet Tom. Don't confuse technical ability and raw skill with endeavour and workrate. Gerrard and Lampart have had good seasons but on a global scale they don't compare to the ginger wizard.

I disagree. I think Gerrard would make it into any team ahead of Scholes. After all, he was in the top three PFA players of the year (along with lampard, henry). Lampard has managed to become a favourite ahead of many stars at Chelsea and Gerrard has virtually carried LFc into 4th place single handedly. If Gerrard continues on this form, I think he will be England's bets player this summer.
