If Aldershot do not sell their 7,200 tickets whereabouts would the extra seats be and how many would be available? Stoke holds 28,000. 20,000 tickets have been given to both clubs so far and I would have thought a large number will have been given to Stokies / other Conference teams / sponsors etc. There wouldn't be many available would there?

I believe the extra tickets would be for the end opposite the Boothen end, the away end of the Brittania stadium which holds about 4 - 5,000

I hope not as thats where all the Aldershot will be... The extra tickets, I believe, are in the John Smith's Stand...the Main Stand as it were. I gather it will be split if needs be, as in if Town are given the additonal allocation...

Eh? Are you sure? I thought they were in the South Stand (the away end) at the Britt...

I think they're holding the Big AM (away) stand back for the reserve demand next week. A good old "first past the post" ticket sale race!

From what I have read on the Shots messageboard I get the impression they are in the away end (South Stand) and in the main stand (but not all the main stand). Once we know where the tickets are going they will be in the main stand (John Smith's Stand). Guess they will either split it by tier or down the middle...
Thinking about it, those new tickets will have a decent view...good tickets to have I'd reckon...

From looking at the stadium plan on our official site Im presuming that tickets have been sold for the South Stand (behind the goal where normally away fans go) as that is where the designated family area is for the Aldershot fans.
I get the impression that the lower tier of the John Smith Stand is being divided between Aldershot and then neutrals/corperate with the upper tier being left empty.
The thing is there is plenty of talk of us being extra tickets but would they be required? I know our sales have been amazing but I would have thought that the majority of people who wanted a ticket would have got one by now

I would have thought that the location of the unallocated tickets would have been in an area of the ground where it wasn't that obvious from the TV pictures. I think they deliberately gave us the one end + the side that'll be opposite the cameras becasue we were pretty sure to fill it and make the conference look good. Then they've given the other end to the Shots leaving the main Stand for the remaining Shots, the VIPs and the out of sight spare seats (I would suspect the spares will be on the second teir).
