Looks like a bit of a non starter on the train, Just been on the train site and the line between Shrews and Wolves is busses only on the Sunday! Don't fancy being at Shrewsbury station at 9am, with 1000 town fans when only two coaches turn up! Otherwise do as the site suggests and catch the earlier train (sat night!), an 11 hour journey to get to stoke does sound a bit much mind

So trains a no go then that sucks. I was hopingto be able to go for a celebratory drink afterwards but wont be able to if i go on the buses. I presume they will be leaving straight after the presentations.

Didn't seem much on the crewe route to get you there very early, but I might be mistaken! Where are all the blue and amber trainspotter geeks when you need them?

Having read that article Ian it is a little misleading in that it says "If you travel indipendently you MUST purchase a car parking ticket" But fails to say "only if you want to park in the Britannia Stadium car park" Some people might get the idea that it's a fiver to park everywhere!
